Viral! FATHER'S DAY Superhero Tribute Video

He was the first man in your life. He carried you as a baby when mom was too tired and sleep-deprived to do so. He changed your diapers and stayed up at night even when he was tired from work.

When you started school, he woke up an hour early to take you on his way to work. He’d also bring you to mall outings with friends and even parties. He made you look good, feel great during challenging times, such as when someone bullied you at school.

Dad may not be at home most of the time but when he is, he makes sure he spends quality time with you. Now that you’re all grown up and caught up with the realities of life, time spent with your father isn’t as much as it was when you were a child and in school.

Watsons’ video for Father’s Day bit.ly/WATSONSHAPPYFATHERSDAY reminds us that before all these comic book and movie superheroes, we already had a superhero in our life and that’s Dad.

Now, it’s your turn to make Dad look and feel great.

Here are some heartfelt suggestions
:

Take him to lunch or dinner at his favorite restaurant and foot the bill. Now that you’re a professional, take your dad on a Father’s Day date. Surprise him!

Even better than a meal at a restaurant is a meal you made yourself. With YouTube tutorials, it is so easy to prepare and cook a good meal. Your dad will be happy and proud, no matter what the results.

Give your father the gift of good health by putting together vitamins and supplements so he will be healthier. Dad may no longer be young but he can live a long and fulfilling life if he takes care of his health.

Book him a session or two with a fitness trainer who can come up with a realistic health program for him. Your dad may be too busy or not have the time to exercise but with the right information, he’ll have no excuses and get right on to it.

More than any material thing, your father will appreciate the gift of love. Make time from your busy schedule to be with him and reconnect, not just for lunch or dinner. Send him an SMS everyday or give him a call to let him know that despite your being an adult, he is still your superhero.

(Trailer) “A Star is Born” Starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga

Warner Bros. Pictures has just unveiled the highly-awaited official trailer 1 of the romantic drama "A Star is Born."

Check out the trailer below and watch "A Star is Born" in Philippine cinemas October 10.

"A Star is Born" stars four-time Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper ("American Sniper," "American Hustle," "Silver Linings Playbook") and multiple award-winning, Oscar-nominated music superstar Lady Gaga, in her first leading role in a major motion picture.  Cooper helms the drama, marking his directorial debut.

In this new take on the tragic love story, he plays seasoned musician Jackson Maine, who discovers—and falls in love with—struggling artist Ally (Gaga).  She has just about given up on her dream to make it big as a singer… until Jack coaxes her into the spotlight.  But even as Ally's career takes off, the personal side of their relationship is breaking down, as Jack fights an ongoing battle with his own internal demons.

The cast of "A Star is Born" also includes Andrew Dice Clay, with Dave Chappelle and Sam Elliott.
In addition to playing Ally, Gaga, who earned her Oscar nod for the song "Til It Happens to You" from "The Hunting Ground," performs original songs in the film, which she wrote with Cooper and a handful of artists, including Lukas Nelson, Jason Isbell and Mark Ronson.  All the music is original and was recorded live.

"A Star is Born" is produced by Bill Gerber, Jon Peters, Bradley Cooper, Todd Phillips and Lynette Howell Taylor.  Ravi Mehta, Basil Iwanyk, Niija Kuykendall, Sue Kroll, Michael Rapino and Heather Parry serve as executive producers.  The screenplay is by Eric Roth and Bradley Cooper & Will Fetters.

Collaborating with Cooper behind the scenes are Oscar-nominated director of photography Matty Libatique ("Black Swan"), production designer Karen Murphy, three-time Oscar-nominated editor Jay Cassidy ("American Hustle," "Silver Linings Playbook," "Into the Wild"), and costume designer Erin Benach.

"A Star is Born" is distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

VIVA Films’ Latest Suspense-Thriller “Cry No Fear” Showing in Cinemas Nationwide on June 20

VIVA Films is on a roll in producing must-see movies, and "CRY NO FEAR", the suspense-thriller  that's coming out in cinemas this June 20 is one of them.

Ella Cruz and Donnalyn Bartolome take the lead roles of antagonistic half-sisters Wendy and Kaycee. Their father (Lito Pimentel) is well aware that the two cannot stand each other, but he has to leave them at home together for three days, in the company of their nanny Dory (Sheree).   In the middle of a raging storm, the tension at home is amplified by unwanted guests begging for food and medicine.  The sisters drive the strangers away, but their safety is already compromised.  They find themselves in the hands of ruthless intruders (Lander Vera Perez, Christopher Roxas, Patricia Javier) who will not think twice about killing them.  For once in their lives, Wendy and Kaycee must unite to escape.

Directed by Richard V. Somes, who got his first directorial break in one of the segments of "Shake, Rattle & Roll", "CRY NO FEAR" will show the usually perky Ella and Donnalyn in a different light. Though fans have already seen them act terrified in the 2017 horror movie "Darkroom", this time, they will see them act all nasty, which is a far cry from Ella's previous roles, just like in the movie "Fangirl, Fanboy", and Donnalyn's roles in various movies and TV series.

Both actresses shared that working together in this film has definitely brought them closer. "Para kaming magkapatid, minus the away," Donnalyn said on VIVA TV's Anong Ganap.  Ella remarked, "Mas nagkaroon kami ng bonding and sharing ng mga bagay-bagay."

One thing that these talented artists share is their passion for singing and dancing.  Ella is known for her trending dance videos on YouTube, earning her the title "Millennial Dance Princess".  Donnalyn, who started out as an internet sensation known for writing her own songs, is aptly called "Social Media Sweetheart".

But as Wendy and Kaycee on "CRY NO FEAR", these girls are no sweethearts and can very well be princesses of terror.
