(Photos) Jessy Mendiola Steals Angel Locsin's Fashion Statement

Not only that she (allegedly) stole her boyfriend from her, and a failed attempt to snatch the "Darna" role from her, Jessy Mendiola settled to just copy Angel Locsin's fashion statement. And oh, yes, the Sexiest Woman in the Philippines title.

Check out some photos below proving that Jessy is but a die-hard fan to Angel:

Inigo Pascual Compares Self to James Reid, Releases Self-titled, Pop-Dance Album under Star Music

How does a son of a successful actor-singer, the country’s so-called ultimate heartthrob, prove his mettle and make a name for himself?

For Inigo Pascual, it is more than just having the good looks and a famous last name he got from his dad, Piolo Pascual. It is having the talent, the skills, a sense of purpose, and a big dream.

With his self-titled, pop-dance album, he finally comes into his own as his passion for music – his first love – takes center stage in his career.

Inigo’s passion for music goes back to his childhood when he learned to play the piano at the age of seven – all by himself. At 12, he already knew how to play the guitar and ukulele. It was also the first time Inigo wrote a song, called “Fallen,” which is included in his album. He also dabbled in theater when he played Link Larkin in the musical “Hairspray” in high school.

Fun facts about INIGO PASCUAL's musical influences:

Inigo wrote 3 songs for this album: Dahil Sa’yo, Fallen and Dito
Inigo's songwriting influences: Yeng Constantino
On the artists he wants to collaborate with: KZ, Yeng Constantino, Darren Espanto, Ylona, Sarah Geronimo and Sam Concepcion
On choosing between singing and acting: Singing/Performing
The first song he learned: How Did You Know by Gary Valenciano
On comparison of his voice to dad Piolo Pascual: Magkaiba ang boses namin, ang genre

As Inigo appeared in teleseryes and movies, he also started showcasing his musical chops. He recorded the song “Lullabye Bye” for Star Music’s “OPM Fresh” album, which enlisted up-and-coming artists, and he wrote the song “Dito” for his episode in “Wansapanataym” in 2015.

Now that he has made his dream come true by releasing his first album, the road is going to be lot bumpier and more exciting for Inigo. And like his musical influences Sam Concepcion, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, and Nick Jonas, Inigo is ready to be a total performer – to produce the next big hit, top music charts, and start a dance craze with his first single “Dahil Sa’yo”.

INIGO PASCUAL contains three of his compositions:

Dahil Sa’yo
Fallen
Dito

Other Tracks:
Binibini
That Hero (Jonathan Manalo)
Your Love (Shorya Shorma & Samuel Simpson, Singaporean-based and from Academy of Rock)
Ikaw at Ako (Gabriel Tagadtad)
Live Life Brighter (Miles Blue Sy)

Bonus Track:
Lullabye Bye
Dito

INIGO PASCUAL is produced by Kidwolf and now available on Spotify, and physical copies will be available soon nationwide at P199.

The digital tracks can also be downloaded via online music stores such as ABS-CBN Store, iTunes, Mymusicstore.com.ph, Amazon.com, OneMusic.ph, and Starmusic.ph.

Rodrigo Duterte Snubs Kris Aquino

President Rodrigo Duterte, who just came from a business trip in Malaysia, failed to attend the scheduled townhall interview with Kris Aquino for TV show "Go Negosyo" because he is not feeling well.

The interview which is set in Duterte's hometown in Davao City had been widely promoted and advertised by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Go Negosyo Foundation, and TV5 on newspapers and TV ads, and on state-run station PTV 4.

(Video) President Rodrigo Duterte snubs Kris Aquino. Seriously, awkward!

"Minsan ang mga first date hindi natutuloy," Kris said on stage after she was introduced by Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion.

Admitting that she had no idea at all why she was snubbed, Kris pleased the President to "give me a chance. I hope one day mamahalin mo rin ako. Gusto ko rin kayo makilala."

The Star of All Media, who looked slimmer in a green dress, said she lost weight just for the exclusive interview.

Concepcion said Duterte had a "bad migraine" and couldn't make it. Kris quickly reacted by saying, "Maybe I have that effect on some men."

She said Concepcion, also a presidential adviser on entrepreneurship, nearly had a "heart attack" after learning that Duterte wasn't coming.

The start of the event was delayed by over an hour due to confusion on whether Duterte would be coming.

"Go Negosyo" which will air on PTV4 and TV5 marks Kris' return to television after bidding farewell to viewers of morning talk show "Kris TV" more than seven months ago.

Create Your Own Coffee Table Book Fast and Easy for as Low as P1,000 with FUJIFILM PHOTO DIARY

Who says printed photo is way outdated already?

I have friends whose Facebook and Instagram accounts were hacked. Photos and videos all gone. Memories of years of travel escapades, anniversaries, Christmas, New Year and other family celebrations were all vanished. All that's left is regret. Regretting their decisions not to secure and preserve the only thing that will keep reminding them of those good old days.

I am very sure you will agree with me 101% when I say that everyone of us wants to preserve our memories and organize photos into an album but it is a tedious task. Sorting through an overabundance of snaps and deciding on a layout takes time.

The FUJIFILM Photo Diary is the answer to the growing demand for putting photos together into an album, properly selected and labeled, and accomplished in minutes. Developed through FUJIFILM’s Image Organizing Technology, the Photo Diary enables you to make an original album out of a year’s worth of images or to simply mark a milestone or two. Instead of choosing hundreds of photos manually, the Image Organizing Technology software will automatically select the best photos for you and arrange it in the best layout possible. Because of this, you can now create a ready-to-print layout in just five minutes. There are also several design templates and vibrant color schemes that users can choose from to make their photo-customizing experience easy and stress-free.

Fuji Film executives with ambassadors Lauren Reid and Cheska Garcia-Kramer

Another amazing feature of the Photo Diary is that it makes for a very handy repository of memories. It is like owning your own coffee table book instead of the traditional photo album. It is not bulky and can be tagged along wherever you go. The Photo Diary is made of high-quality FUJIFILM photo paper and special insert material to make the pages withstand wear-and-tear. However, unlike the expensive coffee table books that take months to create, the best part about the Photo Diary is that it takes as fast as 24-hours to produce (production time may vary). In just about a day or so, you can have your most treasured snaps in a high-quality, hardbound photo book.

FUJIFILM is confident that Filipinos will take to the Photo Diary very well because Filipinos are a photo-loving nation, from mothers who cherish and preserve memorable family moments to young millennials who express their creativity with well-curated and stylized photos. The Photo Diary is the perfect tool to document life’s important milestones: weddings, birthdays, graduations, and favorite travels.

The price of the Photo Diary starts at Php999 for a minimum of 16 pages, and up to Php2,199 for a maximum of 40 pages. Photo Diary is a fun, easy, and modern way of documenting photos and making them a lasting keepsake, handed down from generation to generation, and shared among family and friends.

For its initial rollout, Fujifilm Photo Diary will be available key locations across the country. Photo Diary will be available at:

ABS-CBN's Net Income Increased by 50% for the First 9 Months of 2016

ABS-CBN Corporation, the country’s leading media and entertainment company, reported a consolidated revenue of P31.1 billion for the first nine months of 2016, bringing its net income to PHP 2.85 billion, 50% higher compared to the same period last year.

ABS-CBN chief financial officer Aldrin Cerrado attributed the growth to strong advertising revenues during the first nine months, which were boosted by election-related spending and the continued leadership in ratings of our primetime shows.

Our ratings performance is key since we have adopted the cost per individual rating point pricing (CPIRP) scheme,” said Cerrado.  “We are confident that we will meet our earnings guidance of between PHP 3.2 to 3.5 billion for 2016.”

Cerrado also said ABS-CBN has an ongoing program to manage costs more efficiently.

We have been successful in controlling production costs and have been able to reduce expenses on a per program basis compared to last year,” he explained.

According to Kantar Media, the top 10 programs for the first nine months of 2016 for free-to-air television nationwide covering both urban and rural homes were all produced by ABS-CBN with “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” consistently ranking number 1.  The company’s Digital Terrestrial Television or DTT helped boost audience share with over 1.6 million ABS-CBN TVplus boxes sold as of the end of September.

Kantar Media uses a nationwide panel size of 2,610 urban and rural homes that represent 100% of the total Philippine TV viewing population, while the other ratings data supplier AGB Nielsen reportedly has 2,000 homes based in urban areas that represent only 57% of the Philippine TV viewing population.

Online, viewership of ABS-CBN content also remain strong with ABS-CBN’s video-on-demand service iWant TV – the leading OTT platform in the Philippines – continuing to garner millions of page views very month.

Total assets rose to P74.7 billion as of the end September 2016 from P70.4 billion as of end last year. The company’s equity base increased to P30.8 billion as of the end of September 2016.

ABS-CBN’s ventures outside its TV and Studio business have exhibited strong performances as well.  The company’s consumer business is generated from three types of businesses, namely subscription, ticketed experiences, and durable goods.

Ron Valdueza, ABS-CBN’s Group CFO said, “Sky Cable has improved its profitability, assisted by cost control measures and the continued steep increase in its broadband subscriber base.”

Valdueza said the launch of Sky’s direct-to-home pay TV service nationwide under the brand SkyDirect last May has brought in over 70,000 subscribers.

By year-end, Sky’s total Pay TV and Broadband subscriber base should breach the 1 million mark,” he said.

Consistent with the company’s vision of touching the lives of Kapamilyas overseas and finding new ways outside TV viewing that would allow its customers’ experiences to be more immersive and interactive, ABS-CBN Global staged “ASAP New York” at the Barclay’s Center. Around 9,000 Kapamilyas were entertained by over 50 artists during the 4-hour show. The Filipino Channel (TFC) is now being watched by over 3 million Filipinos abroad.

Kidzania, the company’s educational theme park, has welcomed over 200,000 visitors since the beginning of the year, while the O Shopping Channel has generated P612 million in sales of various products for the first nine months of 2016.

With all these achievements, ABS-CBN is poised to deliver record earnings performance this year,” said Valdueza.

ABS-CBN is home to the nation’s top-rating TV programs, box-office films, and best-selling books and music. With the ability to harness the latest in technology and innovation, the company is rapidly transitioning into an agile digital company with the biggest online presence among all media companies, and a growing list of digital properties. ABS-CBN was also first in the country to offer content online and on mobile, and even pioneered digital television in the nation.

October 1 - 31 AGB TV Ratings: GMA-7 Secures Dominant Position in Nationwide Ratings

GMA Network strengthened its lead in the race for nationwide ratings supremacy, based on data from the industry’s widely trusted ratings service provider Nielsen TV Audience Measurement.

For the period October 1 to 31 (with October 23 to 31 based on overnight data), GMA continued to lead competition in NUTAM with a 37.4 percent average household audience share, ahead of ABS-CBN’s 35.6 percent by 1.8 points.

GMA scored top ratings across all dayparts in NUTAM, including primetime due to the consistently strong performance of its programs on this hotly contested block.

Six of the ten most watched programs in NUTAM belonged to GMA with Encantadia, the 2016 version of the well-loved Kapuso telefantasya emerging as the highest-rating Kapuso show nationwide.

Completing the list of GMA programs in the top 10 are flagship newscast 24 Oras, top-rating comedy program Pepito Manaloto, multi-awarded news magazine program Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, primetime series Alyas Robinhood, and weekly drama anthology Magpakailanman.

Meanwhile, the Kapuso Network also furthered its leadership position in Urban Luzon, which accounts for 77 percent of all urban households in the country.

In Urban Luzon, GMA won across all dayparts and registered an average household share of 41.9 percent, while ABS-CBN posted only 31.3 percent, which is 10.6 points behind GMA’s total day average.

More programs from GMA also occupied the list of top shows in Urban Luzon. Encantadia kept its winning streak and took the top spot over-all in this particular area.

As the leading ratings service provider, Nielsen TV Audience Measurement service boasts a total of 31 clients/subscribers including 8 local TV networks, 4 regional clients, 2 blocktimers, and 17 media agencies.

GMA subscribes to Nielsen along with TV5 and Aksyon TV, CNN Philippines, Net 25, Ebiquity-Faulkner CBN Asia and TAPE Inc., and major advertising and media agencies such as Dentsu Aegis Network (Carat, Mediaforce Vizeum, Dentsu), GroupM (Mediacom, Mindshare, MEC and Maxus), Omnicom Media Group (OMD, PHD and M2M), Zenith Optimedia, and Starcom Mediavest.
