List: Celebrities That Make the Most Money on Social Media

Have you ever wondered how much money your favorite celebrities' social media posts are worth? Who do you think is the greatest social media influencer of them all?

Well, according to highly scientific research by D'Marie Analytics, below are the top six social media influencers (the list includes both brands and celebrities) in order, and it might surprise you:

1. Selena Gomez
2. Kendall Jenner
3. Kylie Jenner
4. Rihanna
5. Beyoncé Knowles
6. Taylor Swift

Back in December, D'Marie reported supermodels such as Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid could earn between $125,000 to $300,000 per social media post. But that amount looks like chump change compared to the $550,000 the company now says Selena could be making to post across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to her 180.6 million followers.

In an article with Adweek, CEO of D'Marie Group Frank Spadafora explained how they arrived at such a high figure:

"The rate-per-post is her "ad equivalent" value per post across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This may be different than how much she is actually getting paid when participating in social media campaigns. That is up to negotiations between her agents and the brands. This valuation is based on D'Marie's algorithm which measures 56 metrics including followers, post frequency, engagement, quality of post, click-thru and potential to create sales conversions from her social content."

Spadafora also noted that compared to other celebs, Selena rarely does campaigns, which might be the reason for why she's so influential.

(Livestream) MMK Kwentuhang Kapamilya Hong Kong with Ms. Charo Santos-Concio

After touching the lives of Filipinos overseas with the first "Kwentuhang Kapamilya" in Madrid, Spain, streamed worldwide via TFC.tv, the longest-running drama anthology continues its journey with overseas Filipinos with its second inspirational talk series in Hong Kong this weekend.

"MMK," hosted by Ms. Charo Santos has been documenting the lives of Filipinos in the Philippines and even outside the homeland for over two decades.  It has become an icon in the Philippine entertainment industry for its award-winning episodes, stirring performances and the valuable lessons the readers themselves impart, true to its tagline "Ikaw Ang Bida Sa Kuwento Mo."

First seen on television in 1991, it has since then, been shared and experienced by audiences across platforms: radio, movies, music, books, merchandise and including its sub-titled version for non-Filipino speaking viewers of TFC.

Now, through "Kwentuhang Kapamilya," MMK's celebration of its 25th year, and The Filipino Channel's (TFC) way of reaching out to its audience  through live events, the program has become a venue for the actual exchanging of stories as overseas Filipinos leave their homeland, try to survive at a land they call their second home and thrive in the path they have chosen.

The stories in the first "Kuwentuhang Kapamilya" were as varied as Europe's terrain. Rico "Ericka" Angsioco from Nasugbu Batangas was honored to be chosen as one of the story tellers because finally, he could share his experience. From being a teacher, he accepted a job as a food server to fend for his family. Angsioco said that each pasalubong he sent back home carried a piece of him.  "Ang bawat tsokolate o bagay na ipinapadala namin sa inyo, lungkot at luha ang kapalit nito sa amin na nandito sa abroad," Ericka shared. Now he enjoys life in Madrid with his mother who now reaps the fruits of his labor with him.

Atty. Chona Tenorio of Occidental Mindoro's story was a reverse of Angsioco's story.  She started as a domestic helper but through her perseverance, was able to become an immigration lawyer.
However, her success did not come with challenges as her children grew up not knowing who she was.  "Napakahirap isipin para sa isang ina na iwan ang mga anak mo."

During the first year as an overseas Filipino, Tenorio left with a heavy heart.  But after having endured the distance, she was able to reconcile with her children.

The story of Miracel Plarical from Bukidnon is quite different.  She came to Spain as a candidate for the religious life. "Noong una, buo ang pamilya ko.  Noong nagkahiwalay ang parents, doon nawala ang desire ko sa pagmamadre.  Kasi kung hindi mo alam ang gagawin mo, wala ring direksiyon ang buhay mo."  Eventually, she learned to forgive her father but has chosen a different vocation in life.

The inspiration talk series became a rollercoaster of emotions when Angela Maalafrom Lemery, Batangas shared her interesting story.  She fell in love at an early age, not fully knowing that she was marrying someone who rendered her a battered wife.  "Noong una para akong nasa heaven…Matagal po akong nagising.  Umabot sa point na muntik na akong magkapamatay."  Once she finally realized her predicament and decided to take charge, Go left for overseas where her story took a turning point.

Maala ended: "Nang iwan ako ng asawa ko, nag-abroad ako, akalain mo na dito ko pa sa Madrid mararanasan ang mag-opisina e kung tutuusin, wala naman akong pinag-aralan."

Altogether, Angsioco, Tenorio, Plarical and Maala's stories are narratives OFs can relate to but most importantly, life lessons kababayans can learn from to move on with their own lives.

On July 24, the sharing continues as TFC bringsMs. Charo Santos, host Eric Nicholas and Kapamilya Diva KZ Tandingan to Hong Kong to hear the stories for themselves.  Together, overseas Filipinos can watch the episode and become part of the MMK "Kwentuhang Kapamilya" via TFC IPTV and TFC.tv on July 25, 10 p.m. Manila time

SUICIDE SQUAD Up Close and Personal

You've met the members of "Suicide Squad" last week, now get to know the baddies around them in director David Ayer's epic, mad adventure "Suicide Squad" (in Philippine cinemas August 04).

AMANDA WALLER (Viola Davis).  A hard-as-nails career U.S. intelligence officer who makes bad things happen to bad people, Amanda Waller is the secret commander of the Suicide Squad and cares only about the operation at hand—everyone is expendable when serving the greater good. She puts the inaugural Squad together in order to attempt an impossible mission, ensuring herself easy patsies to take the blame and zero personal accountability if things go wrong.

COLONEL RICK FLAG (Joel Kinnaman). Amanda Waller's second-in-command, Colonel Rick Flag is the best Tier One Shooter the armed forces has produced, which makes him even more suspicious of a homegrown cannon like Deadshot (Will Smith). A military man through and through, Flag is in charge of keeping this disparate group in line.

THE JOKER (Jared Leto). Chaos personified, The Joker is incredibly dangerous and revels in every single moment of the chaos he creates. Batman's greatest, most unpredictable adversary, he is also Arkham Asylum's most infamous resident, as well as the love of Squad member Harley Quinn's life.

KATANA (Karen Fukuhara). Dressed in Samurai-inspired, street fighter garb and ballistic facemask, Katana wields the Soultaker, a large Samurai sword that traps the souls of all its victims. A cold-blooded killer, she serves as a member of the Squad, but is also there as an associate of Colonel Rick Flag to keep the others in line.

LIEUTENANT "GQ" EDWARDS (Scott Eastwood). The leader of the Navy SEAL team assigned to the Squad's mission, Lieutenant "GQ" Edwards – along with fellow SEALs Anvil, Gomez and Kowalski – wears his confidence as easily as his personal armory of weapons.

"Suicide Squad" follows the events of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," and takes place in a post-Superman world where the government tries to determine how to respond in the event that an alien with more villainous intentions visits Earth. Ruthless intelligence officer Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) offers to recruit society's worst criminals, those possessing lethal skills and superhuman powers. Her first target: the possessed archaeologist June Moone/Enchantress (Cara Delevingne).

When Midway City is threatened by a powerful mystical enemy, Waller's plan gets the go-ahead. She cuts deals with the whole squad of prisoners: Deadshot (Will Smith) gets his Second Amendment rights reinstated, Harley (Margot Robbie) is set free from her cage, Diablo (Jay Hernandez) steps out of his fireproof prison, Boomerang (Jai Courtney) and Slipknot (Adam Beach) each get to wield their signature weapons once more, and Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje) emerges from the swamp. The only condition is this: Obey orders or die. This is strictly enforced by squad leader Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), the samurai Katana (Karen Fukuhara), and of course the explosive devices – developed by Wayne Enterprises – inserted into their necks. However, the arrival of the tatted-up Gotham City mega-criminal, the Joker (Jared Leto), might doom the mission thanks to his plan to reunite with his true love, Harley.

Opening across the Philippines in 3D, and in 2D, and in select IMAX 3D theaters on August 4, "Suicide Squad" is distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company. www.suicidesquad.net

(Video) THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS When You're Not Around

Ever wonder what your pets do when you're not around?

For their fifth fully animated feature-film collaboration, Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures present "The Secret Life of Pets," a comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day.

(Watch the film's main trailer here at http://youtu.be/24SufY2q69U.)

Comedy superstars Louis C.K. (TV's "Louie"), Eric Stonestreet (TV's "Modern Family") and Kevin Hart ("Central Intelligence") make their animated feature-film debuts as Max, Duke and Snowball in "The Secret Life of Pets," which co-stars Jenny Slate ("Zootopia") as Gidget, Ellie Kemper ("Bridesmaids") as Katie, Lake Bell (TV's "Children's Hospital") as Chloe, Dana Carvey ("First Impressions") as Pops, Hannibal Buress ("Neighbors") as Buddy, Bobby Moynihan (TV's "Saturday Night Live") as Mel, Steve Coogan ("Minions") as Ozone and Albert Brooks ("Finding Dory") as Tiberius.

For one bustling Manhattan apartment building, the real day starts after the folks on two legs leave for work and school.  That's when the pets of every stripe, fur and feather begin their own nine-to-five routine: hanging out with each other, trading humiliating stories about their owners, auditioning adorable looks to get better snacks and watching Animal Planet like it is reality TV.

The building's top dog, Max (C.K.), a quick-witted Terrier rescue who's convinced he sits at the center of owner Katie's (Kemper) universe, finds his pampered life turned upside down when she brings home Duke (Stonestreet), a sloppy, massive mess of a mongrel with zero interpersonal skills.  When this reluctant canine duo finds themselves out on the mean streets of New York, they have to set aside their differences and unite against a fluffy, yet cunning, bunny named Snowball (Hart), who's building an army of pets who've been abandoned by their owners and are out to turn the tables on humanity…all this and making it home before Katie returns at dinnertime.

Illumination Entertainment founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborator Janet Healy—who together have produced the beloved films of the "Despicable Me" franchise, as well as the blockbusters "Minions" and "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax"—produce the comedy that is directed by Chris Renaud, co-directed by Yarrow Cheney and written by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio and Brian Lynch.

Opening across the Philippines on August 24, "The Secret Life of Pets" is distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.

What is drawing a lot of attention to "Rock The Runway" is that this is the first fundraiser show of the internationally famous Gathercolethat is dedicated to the children of Bantay Bata.  The reason?

"I see myself in the children being cared for byBantay Bata," Gathercole said. "I was a battered child. So, given the chance, I want to help the youth.  I was very fortunate that God and truly good people took me out of the dark when I lived in the streets after running away from home. I've been very, very blessed.  It's time to give back. 'Rock The Runway' is my dream fashion show.  Helping the kids through my work – that is where my heart lies, that is what my life is about now."

ABS-CBN Foundation International, through Bennett, released this statement in grateful salute to Gathercole and supporters of "Rock The Runway"

We are deeply grateful to Rocky Gathercole, Lifestyle Network, TFC and For The Stars Fashion House for supporting ABS-CBN Foundation International, specifically BANTAY BATA (Child Watch). Our abused and disadvantaged children will most definitely get to smile and laugh again.

Kids always see everything with fresh eyes, expecting something new and exciting and different every time they look. Sadly, it is not so with destitute children. They are deprived, even of excitement and imagination. Poverty is more than just material and physical deprivation for them. It is a loss of hope and dignity. Rocky Gathercole knows this only too well. And just as Rocky was able to get up and out of hopelessness through the compassion of people he met along the way, now he wants to give even more of himself for them. And so we have faith that a bright future is in store for these kids because of his kindness, goodness, and generosity of heart.

Once more, I sincerely want to thank Rocky, The Lifestyle Network, For The Stars Fashion House, TFC and all our donors and partners for providing the help and support needed by the abused, sick, and poor children in our country, through this avant-garde fashion show, ROCK THE RUNWAY.

Together, we are helping restore hope and dignity in the children's lives.
