Kenzo Gutierrez Admits Relationship with Julia Barretto: "Basta parang may thing kame."

PBB 737 teen housemate Kenzo Gutierrez talked about his supposed past relationship with teen Kapamilya teen star Julia Barretto.

In a July 17 episode of  "PBB 737 Uncut", Kenzo was shown asking fellow PBB housemates Edward Kyle Secades and Hendrix Jimboy Martin if they know the celebrity who looks like another housemate, Zonia Ysabel Mejia.

Edward then blurted, "Crush mo si Julia [Barretto]?" Which Kenzo replied with "Hindi ko siya crush, bro. Basta parang may thing kami dati,"

Kenzo further said that he and Julia were in first year high school when they entered into a relationship, which lasted for only two months.

When asked why their relationship ended, he said, "Feeling ko, kapag inisip ko ngayon, e parang bata pa talaga kami noon. Pero parang mutual naman noong nag-ayaw kami. We're friends pero matagal na rin kaming hindi lumalabas,"

Julia, however, denied having a past relationship with Kenzo. "He was my friend in grade school na sobrang tagal na pero never ko siya naging boyfriend,"

Bea Alonzo, Richard Yap, Matteo Guidicelli, Morisette Amon, JayR, Kyla All Set to Party in 31st London Barrio Fiesta

TFC, ABS-CBN Press Release

Last June, Philippine Independence Day month, Filipino pride was shining strongly and brightly as the ABS-CBN TFC Fiesta Caravan marched merrily to Oslo, Yorkshire, Rome, Morden, Madrid, Dublin and London, for numerous festivals in partnership with Filipino organizations in Europe.  It was also in June that TFC@theMovies officially launched at the Prince Charles Cinema north of Leicester Square in West End with the Liza Soberano-Enrique Gil hit starrer, “Just The Way You Are”.

The TFC Fiesta Caravan and the launch of TFC@theMovies in theaters are just two of the promised four-fold celebration of the TFC theme, “Galing ng Filipino”, this 2015.  Come July 18 and 19, ABS-CBN TFC Europe kicks it up a notch by joining forces anew with Filipino community mover Philippine Centre for a powerhouse 31st London Barrio Fiesta at Apps Court Farm Walton-on-Thames near Hampton Court Palace, Surrey.

What makes this London Barrio Fiesta different this year, you may ask?” said ABS-CBN Middle East, Europe and Africa Managing Director Kai Rodriguez. “Perspective makes all the difference: it’s not what you look at; it’s what you see. The London Barrio Fiesta on its 31st year is not just a 2-day musical festival but an integral part of a continuing narrative of how far Filipinos have come in Europe. It is an iconic representation of our ever-expanding Filipino footprint of culture and influence in the region. That’s how we see this today.  It’s not just a picnic in the park with a parade of stars. We’ve come a long way and we acknowledge and celebrate that in a big way.”

The 31st London Barrio Fiesta promises to bring the biggest Kapamilya stars.  On July 18 multi-talented Kapamilya Hunk Matteo Guidicelli, R & B Prince Jay R, R & B Princess Kyla, Tacloban City’s pride Reo Brothers join two-day artists Tart Carlos and Vivieka Ravanes for an afternoon of Pinoy music, gaiety and pride.

On the second day, July 19, this generation’s Drama Queen Bea Alonzo, Papa Chen Richard Yap, Dream Dad Zanjoe Marudo, Morisette, and Carlos and Ravanes are set to bring the entertainment meter to stellar heights.

Day 2 stars of the London Barrio Fiesta will also celebrate with Marudo as he marks his birthday.

With this year’s line-up of stars and activities, Hermano Mayor Joseph Parinas says the annual London Barrio Fiesta keeps getting better.

What started as a picnic has now become the platform to showcase Filipino talent.  What began as a coming together of Filipino offerings has become the center stage for Filipino pride.”  Parinas ends,

“In all these milestones, we are happy that ABS-CBN TFC – a network truly in the service of the Filipino - is our key partner.

During the two-day weekend event, Kapamilyas can also grab a copy of the book version of the iconic romance movie “One More Chance” then featuring 31st London Barrio Fiesta day two star Alonzo and movie partner John Lloyd Cruz at the TFC booth.  Plus, kababayans can also get their tickets to Pinoy Big Four’s fitting finale ASAP 20 Live in London also at the TFC booth.  During ASAP 20 Live in London, TFC Europe also hopes to engage OFs to take a more participatory role in nation-building even while they are in their second homes, through its overseas voting (OV) campaign in partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs - Overseas Voting Secretariat.

Finally, on the second day of the 31t London Barrio Fiesta, Pinoys can catch the Piolo Pascual – Sarah Geronimo starrer and blockbuster Star Cinema movie “The Breakup Playlist” via TFC@theMovies’ screening at the Archery Hall.

I Took the #Physiogel "Freedom List" Challenge and the Result Was Amazing!

I Took the #Physiogel "Freedom List" Challenge and the Result Was Amazing!

Join #Physiogel #FreeInMySkin Movement now and free yourself from dry and sensitive skin!

On Wednesday night, July 15, at the Rizal Ballroom of Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City, GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) launches three new exciting happenings that will help people do more, feel better and live longer.

In line with this mission, GSK’s Consumer Healthcare division and Physiogel, its flagship skin health brand, aims to help Filipinas and all women across Asia, to be free from dry and sensitive skin.

On good skin days, women are naturally more onfident presenting their best face to the world.  When women love how their skin looks and feels, they want to go out and enjoy themselves, meeting people, making connections, and taking on the world.

However, the opposite holds true, too. When they experience bad skin days with their skin feeling 'dry, red and itchy', they are uncomfortable and easily irritated.

Research from the GSK Skin Health Asia Pacific Consumer Report 2014 shows that more than 50% of women across Asia experience sensitive face and body skin in the past 12 months. One out of two women will not visit a skincare professional for their skin condition. The same study shows that 71% and 61% of Filipinas have sensitive face and body skin, respectively.

  • Dry and sensitive skin affects 60-70% of Filipino women, and impacts on their quality of life as they are unable to fully embrace living life to the fullest.
  • Physiogel believes in freeing the strength in sensitivity.
  • When their confidence dips, women feel more vulnerable.

Sensitivity is a source of strength for women, not a weakness to be hidden away. This powerful consumer insight compels Physiogel to passionately advocate the #FreeInMySkin Movement in 2015. The Movement also coincides with the debut of the NEW Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy line,” reveals Justin Alejandro Lladoc, GSK Skin Health Senior Product Manager.

Lladoc says Physiogel’s #FreeInMySkin Movement starts with self discovery. Physiogel aims to help women to be more aware of themselves so they can uncover their full potential. It challenges Filipinas to look past their skin insecurities in the hope of helping them fulfill dreams they have always wanted to achieve.

And this journey to self discovery starts with taking the Freedom List Challenge, Physiogel’s suggested guide in the form of a lifestyle online quiz that is a representation of what women can achieve when freed from dry and sensitive skin.

The Freedom List Challenge starts with a 5-question quiz:

1. Which fitness activities give your skin a post-workout glow?
2. Your potential is limitless, so what’s your dream job?
3. How do you like to show off your beautiful, strong sensitive skin?
4. Everybody has a dream “to do” list. What tops yours?
5. What is your dream holiday?

The result of the quiz provides a glimpse to one’s personality that ranges from being a savvy collaborator, inspiring innovator, charismatic motivator and elegant sophisticate - revealing worthwhile hints that may help them embrace and live life to The #FreeInMySkin Movement, now made more exciting by new additions with the introduction of the #FreeInMySkin website and Freedom List Challenge, is more relevant than ever because it is able to reach many Filipinas digitally across the nation. And because of its continuous success, from its conception in 2014, it has caught the attention of Mercury Drug. They too were encouraged to free many more Filipinas from dry, sensitive skin by making Physiogel products available across the

“By the end of 2016, with its continued resonance with consumers, the Movement is expected to have rolled out to the rest of Asian markets,” Lladoc shares.

  • Physiogel’s Free In My Skin campaign seeks to enable women to find the right solutions to free themselves from dry and sensitive skin.

The new Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy line continues to be a differentiated science-led solution featuring the unique Physiogel BioMimic Technology® that works to soothe and repair the skin’s natural moisture barrier.

Dermatologists highly-recommend Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy because it is non-comedogenic,  and is free from soap, preservatives, perfumes and colourants.

In fact, Physiogel is the #1 Most-Prescribed Brand by Dermatologists in the Philippines! And what’s more, Physiogel is made more accessible to Filipinas across the nation as it is available in Mercury Drug Stores and other leading pharmacies and supermarkets nationwide.

  • Physiogel is a differentiated, science-based, dermatologist-recommended solution for dry and sensitive skin.

TV host, model/entrepreneur, and blogger, Patti Grandidge  is one of those who suffered from dry and sensitive skin. Patti remains to be the brand’s advocate as she embodies the Physiogel woman: smart, elegant, strong and empowered because she is free from dry and sensitive skin.

Patti shares that she used to be more conscious and watchful of what others would think about her skin. “That was sad. I would have liked to be out and about and go for more work, but a little thought would always be at the back of my mind wondering if my skin would be an issue or a hindrance. I was not free to do what I wanted to do," she now says.

The following list is Patti’s answers to the quiz of the Freedom List Challenge:

1. Long run with music
2. Raising my family
3. Relaxing on the beach
4. Starring in my own YouTube channel
5. Ocean excursion cruising to remote islands

This is what came up as her personality: Charismatic Motivator, that she is a mentor, a boss, a sister and a friend — and everyone’s role model. And that her inner strength and sensitivity touches others, convincing them to think big and conquer bigger.

Physiogel’s #FreeInMySkin Movement provides women with helpful guides like the Freedom List Challenge so they can share and talk about their skin “journeys” in “Many of you may still remember what my life was like before I discovered Physiogel. I’m very proud to share with you the continuation of my journey towards being completely free in my skin. And I’m ready for more!” Patti says.

  • Patti Grandidge is Physiogel’s Brand Advocate of the FIMS Movement.

To fulfill its vision to help people do more and feel better, GSK is strongly encouraging Filipinas to discover their true selves by taking the New Physiogel Freedom List Challenge and join the #FreeInMySkin Movement. Log on to and take the Challenge yourself.

72 kids, 1 Dad: Padilla, Revilla, Estrada, Salvador and Quizon

72 kids, 1 Dad: Padilla, Revilla, Estrada, Salvador and Quizon

Jose Padilla, Sr.

"Museo de Padilla." This is how action star Robin Padilla will call a museum dedicated to his genealogy -- a plan he revealed in an April 2015 press conference. There's a good reason why Padilla wants to organize his family tree, what with many of its branches finding careers in showbiz and politics.

Robin is a grandson of Jose Padilla, Sr., who was governor and congressman of Bulacan in the 1930s. Reports say the senior Padilla has more than a dozen children, among them actors Pempe (Jose Padilla, Jr.) and Carlos, Sr.; diplomat Amado; and Roy, Sr., a former governor and Robin's father.

Roy, Sr. is also the father of actor Rommel, making superstar heartthrob Daniel Padilla his grandson and a nephew to Robin. Carlos, Sr. had a son, Carlos, Jr. or Sonny, who was the father of singer Zsa Zsa Padilla, making her a second cousin of Daniel.

Lou Salvador, Sr.

"Hindi ka maniwala, [noong] nabuo kami, 102 kami. Bale, 49 mothers," actor Phillip Salvador said of his paternal siblings in a 2014 interview. (Ninety-seven, according to a 2014 Inquirer report.)

His father, late basketball player and film director Lou Salvador, Sr., died in 1973 aged 67. Notably, another son, Lou Salvador, Jr., was dubbed "The James Dean of the Philippines" in the '50s.

The senior Salvador is also the father of late actor Ross Rival, making him the grandfather of "Bridges of Love" star Maja Salvador. TV host Kris Aquino's son with Phillip, Joshua, is similarly a Salvador grandson.

The late film icon, Rodolfo Vera Quizon in real life, had 18 children with six women, among them celebrities Eric, Ronnie, Epi, Vandolph and Zia. Dolphy was 83 when he passed away in 2012.

Ramon Revilla, Sr.

Isang dugo sila." This was how writer Portia Ilagan, a former spokesperson of Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr., once described the action star and his famously big and controversial clan.

His father, Ramon Revilla, Sr., himself a former film star and senator, fathered 72 children with 16 different women, according to Ilagan in a 2011 interview. Thirty-eight of his children are officially acknowledged and carry his surname.

Born Jose Acuna Bautista, the senior Revilla welcomed his youngest child, Abigail, in 1996. She is an aunt to Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla, one of Bong's kids, who is eight years older than her.

All of Revilla's children attend his birthday celebrations, according to Ilagan. This unity is now apparent as the 88-year-old remains under intensive care, after being hospitalized over the weekend due to pneumonia and metabolic disorder.

Revilla is not the only local celebrity who is known for his big kin. In photos, here are other showbiz patriarchs, deceased and living, who have more than 10 children each.

Joseph Estrada

The 78-year-old former president and incumbent Manila mayor has 12 children with six women, according to a 2012 Inquirer report. Notably, his first child, Jinggoy, followed in his footsteps; he was an action star before joining politics.

Highly Recommended: "Labels are for Cans, Not for People," Coca-Cola Video

It’s no longer a secret that human beings base much of our judgements on looks and appearances. How a person looks is usually the first thing we notice about them and judge them upon, but what happens if you meet someone without seeing them? That’s what Coca-Cola wanted to try when they placed 6 strangers in a completely dark room and had them meet for the first time in total darkness. Your going to really enjoy this experiment
According to the Huffington Post, factors that mostly influence a first are clothing style and posture. By having people meet in a completely dark room, there was no way for anyone to make a judgement based on how anyone else looks or there pose.  When the lights come on, it’s not what anybody expected… It’s just a lovely couple of minutes experiment which just proves we all judge based upon looks. We hope this video will open your eyes and change for the better.

"Happy Truck Ng Bayan" Gives Away Huge Cash Prize to Lucky Contestant

"Happy Truck Ng Bayan" Gives Away Huge Cash Prize to Lucky Contestant

A month after its pilot episode, TV5’s “happiness-on-wheels” Sunday noontime program ‘Happy Truck Ng Bayan’ is still non-stop when it comes to spreading cheer and happiness all over the country. Just last Sunday (July 12), another contestant bagged the jackpot prize.

Aldrin Santos of Commonwealth, Quezon City brought home his total winnings of P225,000.

Before moving up to the “Kwartruck” segment, Aldrin was hailed “Barangay Most Wanted” after outwinning 150 of his neighbors.

Instrumental to Aldrin’s success is Happy Truck Ng Bayan’s resident hunk actor Derek Ramsay who led him to the lucky capsule containing the jackpot prize. Since Derek “feels responsible” for the fate of Aldrin and his wife after the contestants followed his advice in which capsule to pick, Derek joined Aldrin and his wife inside the capsule, so that whatever falls on the couple falls on him too. But to everyone’s surprise, it turns out the jackpot was right there all along!

Avid fans of the program note that Derek has been quite lucky when it comes to guessing and picking the right capsules containing the jackpot prize. During the pilot episode of Happy Truck Ng Bayan, Derek pointed to Gelli De Belen’s capsule and true enough, it had the jackpot. Unfortunately, the contestant didn’t follow his advice. The first jackpot winner, Prince from San Juan City, ended up choosing Derek’s capsule, which also led him to the grand prize.

Meanwhile, hunky construction workers packed with wit and talent take the spotlight as “Happy Truck Ng Bayan” launched its newest hit segment: “O.C.W. (Ooooh Construction Worker!)”

The personality search became an instant hit both among audiences at the barangays and among netizens.

“O.C.W.” made a buzz online as the hunky construction workers showcased their sexy grooves and proved that they're more than right for the job.

Those who want to audition for “O.C.W.” can go to TV5 Novaliches in Quezon City, or send their photos and contact information to Happy Truck Ng Bayan’s Facebook account:

Don’t miss the ‘happy journey’ and join Ogie Alcasid, Janno Gibbs, Gelli De Belen, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla, Derek Ramsay, Jasmine Curtis Smith, Empoy, Tuesday Vargas, Kim Idol, Eula Caballero, Ritz Azul, Alwyn Uytingco, Martin Escudero, Tom Taus, Toni Aquino, Vin Abrenica, Sophie Albert, Chanel Morales, Akihiro Blanco, Shaira Mae, and Mark Neumann in Happy Truck Ng Bayan every Sunday, 11:30PM on TV5!

Mission Accomplished! "Minions" Earns the Biggest Ever Animation Opening in PH Record

Mission Accomplished! "Minions" Earns the Biggest Ever Animation Opening in PH Record

On a mission to steal the Queen's crown, the Minions handily snatched the box-office crown as well! Universal Pictures' “Minions” now holds the record of the All-time Biggest Opening Weekend for an Animation Title after grossing a spectacular P189-million in five days (July 8 to 12). Ironically, “Minions” took the crown from its predecessor, 2013's “Despicable Me 2” (P125.7-M).

This was announced today by a spokesman of United International Pictures (UIP) which distributed the film through Columbia Pictures.

The domination began Wednesday July 8 when the spinoff to “Despicable Me” debuted with P22.8-M, breaking the record set by 2011's “Rio” for the Biggest Opening Day Ever for an animated feature.

What followed is a succession of daily demolished records: Biggest Thursday (P22.9-M), Biggest Friday (P32-M), Biggest Saturday (P58.9-M) and Biggest Sunday (P52.2-M).

Top-notch entertainment value, excellent brand familiarity and immense likability of lead characters Kevin, Bob and Stuart all contributed to the success of “Minions.” UIP also spearheaded a monumental marketing campaign, even flying in the “characters” for TV and mall appearances. The film's in-store tie-up with McDonald's likewise created a viral buzz that overlapped from social media to legitimate news involving the much-coveted Minions toys.

Trinoma topped the list of highest-grossing cinemas with P6.9-M, followed by SM North EDSA (P6.7-M) and SM Megamall (P6.4-M).

Fourth to tenth rankings are claimed by SM Mall of Asia (P6-M), Glorietta 4 (P4-M), Greenbelt 3 (P3.7-M), Alabang Town Center (P3.7-M), SM Cebu (P3.5-M), SM Dasmarinas (P3.2-M) and Eastwood (P3-M).

Also reporting impressive sales are Market! Market! (P2.9-M), Robinsons Magnolia (P2.8-M), Bonifacio High Street (P2.8-M), Power Plant (P2.8-M), SM Southmall (P2.8-M), Fairview Terraces (P2.7-M), SM Baguio (P2.7-M), Shang Cineplex (P2.6-M), SM Marikina (P2.6-M), Ayala Cebu (P2.6-M) and Greenhills Promenande (P2.6-M).

Cinemas that reached the P2.5-M mark are SM San Lazaro, SM Fairview, SM Aura and SM Taguig.
In the U.S., “Minions” ruled the weekend box office, racking up a massive $115.2 million, for the second biggest animated film opening in history.

“With anything that opens to over $100 million, you breach all demographics,” said Jeff Bock, an analyst with Exhibitor Relations. “The Minions are the stars of the ‘Despicable Me’ franchise…kids love them, teens love them, and adults love them.”

In recent months, there’s been a lot of celebrating taking place on the Universal lot. The studio is the leader in market share thanks to hits like “Pitch Perfect 2″ and “Fifty Shades of Grey,” and has two films that have crossed $1 billion at the global box office with “Furious 7″ and “Jurassic World.”

The story of Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s “Minions” begins at the dawn of time. Starting as single-celled yellow organisms, Minions evolve through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable of masters. Continuously unsuccessful at keeping these masters - from T. rex to Napoleon - the Minions find themselves without someone to serve and fall into a deep depression.

But one Minion named Kevin has a plan, and he - alongside teenage rebel Stuart and lovable little Bob - ventures out into the world to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow.

The trio embarks upon a thrilling journey that ultimately leads them to their next potential master, Scarlet Overkill (Academy Award® winner Sandra Bullock), the world’s first-ever female super-villain. They travel from frigid Antarctica to 1960s New York City, ending in mod London, where they must face their biggest challenge to date: saving all of Minionkind...from annihilation.

Now playing across the Philippines, “Minions” is distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.

He Used To See Dead People. Now, Haley Joel Osment Returns for "Sex Ed"

He Used To See Dead People. Now, Haley Joel Osment Returns for "Sex Ed"

Haley Joel Osment, the boy who saw dead people is back, and this time he’s talking about the birds and the bees.

It’s been more than 15 years since Haley Joel Osment uttered that famous line as the haunted boy in “Sixth Sense” and after taking a break from the big screen, Osment is making a comeback-- and this time he is seeing a virgin on the mirror.

From being Forrest Gump Jr. to his break out role as Cole Sear, which made him the second youngest to be nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Academy Awards, Osment seemed on his way to a long and successful acting career.

In addition to his follow-up movies Pay It Forward and A.I. (Artificial Intelligence), Osment made regular TV appearances and even did voice work for the hit Disney video game series Kingdom Hearts, but when he turned 18, Osment took a break from Hollywood and headed to New York.

"It was always college. My mum's a sixth-grade teacher, so it was never really negotiable. And luckily,
I wanted to go to college, too," he said in an interview.

Haley studied experimental theater and graduated from the NYU's Tisch School Of The Arts.

“You can only go to college at that time in your life once, when you are 18, in order to sort of figure out what you want in your life,” he adds.

Haley said having that college experience and a social life that didn't revolve around Hollywood was absolutely crucial for him.

While Haley has been working steadily since graduating in 2011, his biggest role upon his return was in Entourage where he played the main antagonist Travis McCredle, which for a lot of people shattered their childhood image of Haley.

Something he redeems in the upcoming romantic indie comedy movie SEX ED from Solar Pictures.

In Sex Ed, Haley plays Eddie Cole, a down on his luck teacher who lands his first teaching gig at an inner-city middle school.

He soon finds that his highly pubescent pupils are receiving no form of sexual education. And though he isn't really equipped to teach them, he's takes on the challenge of explaining “the birds and the bees”, much to the chagrin of their parents.

But his biggest problem isn’t the students or their parents—it’s himself.

How can a “virgin” teach Sex Ed?

It’s a fascinating role for Haley, as the former child star now finds himself the “teacher” to a new generation of kids who are also aspiring to be actors.

The movie is backed by a talented and comedic cast led by Matt Walsh (Veep) and Retta (Parks and Recreation), Lorenza Izzo (The Green Inferno, Hemlock Grove), Glen Powell (Expendables 3, The Dark Knight Rises), Laura Harring (Gossip Girl), Abby Elliott (Saturday Night Live), George Eads (CSI), and Lamorne Morris (The New Girl).

Watch the trailer below:

“Sex Ed”, uncut and in all its glory, will be hitting theaters on July 22, 2015, released through Solar Pictures.
