Do You Believe in Forever? Here's Five Things Every "Forevermore" Fan Needs to Have

In the era of hit TV shows that turn into trending topics on social media, one thing is sure: Even good things come to an end.

On Friday night, the breakthrough hit “Forevermore” said goodbye to our TV screens. After months of heart tugging scenes between Xander (Enrique Gil) and Agnes (Liza Soberano) in the picturesque fictional town of La Presa, we will finally know if forever exists in Xander and Agnes’ love story.

Since its pilot episode last year, “Forevermore” has generated a legion of fans who have faithfully watched every episode, making it one of the top teleseryes in the primetime block.

“Forevermore” may end tonight, but for the fans who have learned to love the story, it will always have a place in their hearts.

But before loyal fans begin bawling their eyes out when the credits roll, here’s an important reminder: We can all cope with the anguish when a beloved show ends.

AGNES---When your favorite TV series ends
There, there.

To help ease with the heartache of letting go, here are five things that every self-confessed “Forevermore” fan needs to have to cherish the memories of Xander and Agnes.

1. “Forevermore” strawberry-flavored chocolates.

The strawberry farm in La Presa plays an important role in the plot of “Forevermore.” Without the strawberry covered fields, we wouldn’t be able to witness this super kilig scene:

Strawberry picking scene

Ah, young love.

The “Forevermore” strawberry-flavored chocolates are inspired by the iconic strawberry farm community in the show. With each bite, the taste of the chocolates will make any “Forevermore” fan remember heartwarming scenes, sweet smiles, and stolen glances between Xander and Agnes in La Presa.

2. “Forevermore” little Xander parachute design onesies.

Remember the pilot episode? It was because of Xander’s careless base jumping that led him to meet Agnes.

These adorable onesies perfectly preserve the pivotal moment in “Forevermore’s” plot. Made out of pure cotton, the onesies comes in blue, white, and black.

Missing Xander? Perhaps a little bundle of joy donning the onesies will help in reminiscing Xander’s gorgeous smile.

What a cutie pie

3. “Forevermore” mug.

When the Monday blues kick in and there’s no “Forevermore” to look forward to at night, the “Forevermore” mug printed with Xander and Agnes’ faces can uplift the spirit.

Seeing their faces every day when drinking a cup of coffee will definitely trigger a rush of great memories from the show, like when Xander asked Agnes out on a date and this was her reaction:

4. “Forevermore” shirt.

Big Confession: Janice de Belen Reveals Relationship with Gerald Anderson, Cesar Montano Talks About Sandra Seifert Pregnancy

Big Confession: Janice de Belen Reveals Relationship with Gerald Anderson, Cesar Montano Talks About Sandra Seifert Pregnancy

Janice de Belen, after weeks of silence, finally speaks on her alleged relationship with Gerald Anderson (read related article HERE) and that she causes the actor's separation with Maja Salvador.

Ano pang point para i-deny ko yung issue when everybody already believed it?” she said in an interview with ABS-CBN News’ Jeff Fernando.

The 46-year-old veteran actress said she is clueless as to how the rumor started.

Bakit ako? Wala bang ibang mas sexy or mas maganda? Bakit ako? I feel na lahat sila, parang 'yun din ang tanong, ‘Bakit siya?’” she said adding that she is no longer bothered by reports which she knows are not true.

Ilang taon ko na ba ginagawa ang pag-aartista? So para sa akin, sanay na ako na natsi-tsismis. Of course ang worry ko lang was my children. Tinanong lang nila ako. Tapos sinagot ko na 'yung katanungan, klaro na. Alam na kaagad nila,” she said.

Janice, however, admitted that she considered distancing herself from Gerald until the rumor dies.

Cesar Montano's Italy-based sister Marimer came to her brother's defense in connection to the persistent speculations about the veteran actor getting former beauty queen Sandra Seifert pregnant.

If the rumor is true, so be it. Cesar is just a human being. Who is not a sinner in this world? The most important thing is if ever the rumors are true, the babies are his.” she said.

As to the rumor that Seifert will supposedly fly to Italy to give birth there, Marimer said: “How I wish it was true, as I miss the smell of a newborn baby!"

George Clooney Plays Frank Walker, a Disillusioned Inventor in "Tomorrowland"

George Clooney Plays Frank Walker, a Disillusioned Inventor in "Tomorrowland"

Columbia Pictures Press Release

George Clooney leads the cast of Disney's “Tomorrowland” as Frank Walker, once a dreamer and budding scientist, who isolates himself on the family farm, and living like a hermit surrounded by his unique inventions spawned from his growing sense of paranoia. When a young stranger shows up on his doorstep, Frank is forced to leave his secure world and deal with his past.

Director Brad Bird and screenwriter Damon Lindelof had only one man in mind to play the film's lead character - the disillusioned inventor Frank Walker. “From very early on we described Frank as George Clooney-esque,” recalls Lindelof, “and whenever we would talk about actors for Frank, the thinking was: who’s like Clooney? We crossed our fingers and did our best job of writing it, infusing Frank with a curmudgeonly humor and a heroic quality, all of which we think George embodies. And then we sent it off into the universe.

When approached, George Clooney was intrigued by the project and signed on - much to the delight of Bird and Lindelof.

Clooney describes his character Frank as “a disenchanted grump who was a bit of a dreamer as a young boy, a smart little scientist kid. Young Frank goes to a place that he thinks is the greatest in the universe and he believes the world is going to be much better off because of it. He finds out that those things were untrue and becomes probably the most cynical person one could be. He isolates himself on his family farm and plans to spend the rest of his life there but is forced to deal with his past because of situations that happen in the film.

In the movie, Frank Walker has an unwelcomed intrusion in the form of Casey Newton, played by Britt Robertson. Explaining the relationship between the two Clooney says, “Casey forces Frank to do everything he doesn’t want to do and she’s great at it. She’s just constantly nudging him. Frank is grumpy and angry, and it takes him a long time to trust anybody and certainly he’s not going to trust this young woman who storms her way into his life. But eventually they find their way.”

Clooney, says co-star Hugh Laurie, “was everything you hope George Clooney will be plus about ten percent. He’s extremely funny and kind, very bright and very hard working, and considerate of everybody around. Everything you’ve heard people say about him is true; it’s sort of maddening actually. He has an elegance about him that only enriches what he brings. He’s like an old friend. He engenders in an audience that wonderful feeling of comfort and affection. You know that this is a man of taste and intelligence and good humor, and that time in his company is going to be well spent. He’s an absolute gentleman and it was a wonderful privilege to work with him and get a front row seat as it were.”

Not to be outdone, Clooney comments about Laurie, “Hugh’s got a very dry sense of humor and I’ve always really appreciated it. It was really fun to get to know him and spend time with him. It’s a real pleasure to be around somebody who does things because he wants to do them not because he has to. He‘s a fun guy but it’s also fun to have him there because he wants to be there.”

Laughing, Clooney adds, “He’s a first-rate, high-caliber man first of all and then a terrific actor, too, so there’s no downside to him except - I don’t want to say this aloud - he’s got a little kleptomania issue and it’s going to have to be addressed because I caught him coming out of my room with some of my belongings and I’d like them back.

Opening across the Philippines on Friday, May 22, “Tomorrowland” is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International through Columbia Pictures.

“Mad Max: Fury Road” Earns $109-M on Opening Day

“Mad Max: Fury Road” Earns $109-M on Opening Day

  • “Mad Max: Fury Road” roars to $109-million worldwide opening
  • The film is also the #1 new release at the worldwide box office
  • “Mad Max: Fury Road” gives George Miller his biggest opening ever and is already the top-grossing “Mad Max” film
  • In the Philippines, the film received unanimous praise from critics and grossed a formidable P22.74-M gross in four days.
  • In the U.S., “Mad Max: Fury Road” had an excellent opening of more than $44.4 million at 3,702 locations.
Riding on rave reviews and huge anticipation around the globe, Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Village Roadshow Pictures’ “Mad Max: Fury Road” thundered at the worldwide box office with an opening weekend of more than $109.4 million, making it the #1 new release at the global box office.  It is also the biggest opening ever for director George Miller and is already the highest grossing of all the “Mad Max” films.  The announcement was made today by Dan Fellman, President of Domestic Distribution, and Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, President of International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.

George Miller’s return to the world of “Mad Max” was a major draw overseas, where it earned an aggregate estimated $65 million in 68 territories on 16,900 screens.  It was #1 at the box office in almost 40 territories, including Australia, the birthplace of the post-apocalyptic anti-hero, as well as such key markets as France, Russia, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Korea, all of Scandinavia, and many more.

In making the announcement, Fellman said, “George Miller, together with his extraordinary cast, led by Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, and fellow filmmakers, has created a movie-going experience that critics agree is not to be missed, as evidenced by the 98% ‘Fresh’ score on Rotten Tomatoes—resulting in the biggest opening weekend ever for an R-rated actioner so well-reviewed.  Word of mouth is already tremendous and should drive box office returns well into summer.”
Kwan Vandenberg stated, “It’s truly gratifying to see the fantastic critical reaction translate to such strong numbers at the box office.  George Miller’s edge-of-your-seat, action-packed experience is a must-see big-screen visual stunner that is luring both diehard followers and new fans around the world.”

Sue Kroll, President of Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution, said, “Anticipation began with our early campaign, which offered just a taste of the world inhabited by George Miller’s unique characters.  Triumphant premieres in Los Angeles and at the Cannes Film Festival further fueled the social media buzz surrounding ‘Fury Road,’ which, combined with phenomenal reviews, turned the release into a global event.”

Greg Silverman, President, Creative Development and Worldwide Production, added, “The success of ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ is a testament to the commitment of George Miller and his team to deliver something moviegoers have never seen before.  George’s vision not only lives up to the legacy of his pioneering ‘Mad Max’ films but expands upon that legacy for a new generation.  We thank our partners at Village Roadshow and, together with them, congratulate everyone involved in the film.”

From director George Miller, originator of the post-apocalyptic genre and mastermind behind the legendary “Mad Max” franchise, comes “Mad Max: Fury Road,” a return to the world of the Road Warrior, Max Rockatansky.

Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone.  Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by Imperator Furiosa.  They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken.  Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.

Now playing across the Philippines in 2D, 3D, IMAX 3D and 4DX theaters, “Mad Max: Fury Road” is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Made possible by BlckMrkt International LLC and Clique Events Co., in cooperation with TV5 International’s Aksyon TV International, OSN and Cebu Pacific as presenters, with BPI, Avida and Amaia as major sponsors, “PBA in Dubai” features the teams of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, and GlobalPort Batang Pier who will delight Filipinos in Dubai with two action-packed games of the exciting Governors Cup Series on May 21 (Rain or Shine vs Global Port) and May 22 (Ginebra vs Rain or Shine).

TV5 International, through its news and sports channel Aksyon TV International, has been bringing overseas Filipinos closer to home by giving them front-row access to important sporting events in the Philippines such as the widely-followed PBA games.  Now that the PBA is literally brought closer to Filipinos in Dubai through the much-anticipated “PBA in Dubai” event, TV5 International takes the lead in ensuring that its Kapatid subscribers get premier access to the actual hardcourt action as well as to exclusive behind-the-scene coverage of the PBA players’ activities throughout their stay in Dubai.

We take pride in having a very strong presence in the Middle East and we are happy to say that we are continuously growing. The Middle East is such an important market for TV5 International because of the already established presence of thousands of Filipinos there. It is our commitment to constantly reach out to our Kapatid community in the Middle East and give them only the best TV viewing experience that will make them feel the warmth and closeness of home, which is of course the Philippines,” shared TV5 International Chief Operations Officer Ernesto “Bong” Sta. Maria, Jr.

TV5 International’s two channels, Kapatid TV5 and Aksyon TV International, are being shown in the Middle East through Orbit Showtime Network (OSN).  “Through our two channels, we communicate to our viewers what makes TV5 a happy network. We at TV5 International want to extend this happiness to our Kapatid subscribers by giving them what they want. And because we have a strong base of Filipinos in the Middle East who are big PBA fans, we bring to them this rare chance to see their PBA idols and personally watch the PBA games even when they are thousands of miles away from home,” said TV5 International FVP – Head of Sales and Marketing Rona Lynn “Pie” Basiao.

As the presenter of “PBA in Dubai”, Cebu Pacific General Manager for Long-Haul Division Alex Reyes has this to say: “Cebu Pacific is happy to support TV5 International’s ‘PBA in Dubai’ as it gives us an opportunity to support the Filipino community in the UAE. Events such as this bring the Philippines closer to our hardworking and basketball-loving kababayans in Dubai, who may be missing home.”

HONOR, #ForTheBrave Enough to Stand Out

HONOR, #ForTheBrave Enough to Stand Out

Are you up to an adventure that is way beyond thrilling than the norm?

Do you like to try out something that is less unkown and get the biggest surprise of your life?
Do you believe the hype or you want the real thing?

Are you BRAVE enough to switch to the all new HONOR 6 Plus, 4X and 4C Smartphones that respect the young brave digital Filipinos who make bold decisions, go against the trend and looking for a new kind of best.

Living up to its “For the Brave” identity, upstart brand Honor, takes aim at the top names in the industry as it launches the Honor 6 Plus, Honor 4X and Honor 4C - three smartphones brands  with high-end specifications, usable features, and an honorable price.

The Honor 6 Plus is a bold new device for a new digital world. Boasting of improved power, speed, and a unique dual rear camera, the Honor 6 Plus is for the evolved consumer who is looking for a new kind of best—useable features and not just aesthetic gimmickry.

Compared to other 5.5” smartphones, the Honor 6 Plus has the biggest screen ratio at 78.2 percent, with only 2.8mm ultra-thin border, allowing you to better appreciate your photos and videos on its premium HD screen with 1080P resolution and 403 PPI (pixels per inch).

Utilizing a JDI IPS-NEO negative LCD screen, LTP (Low Temperature Poly Silicon), the Honor 6 Plus also has 30 percent better resolution than a regular IPS screen offering 1500:1 super high contrast, and an industry high of 85 percent color saturation making images appear clearer and more lifelike.

This excellent screen is protected by 3rd Generation Corning Gorilla Glass, which is three times stronger, and provides a superior and accurate touch experience. The back of the Honor 6 plus is built even tougher with bullet-proof grade material, and a six layer composite, the bottom layer is made of fiberglass, (the most important material used in military helmets being both lightweight and strong).

For those who want to take their mobile photography to the next level, the Honor 6 Plus is the first smartphone in the Honor series to feature a parallel dual-camera that offers the ability to first CAPTURE an image, then FOCUS on a key area, and then ADJUST the light exposure.

The Honor 6 Plus Eagle-Eye Camera imitates the structure of an eagle eye with an optimized 2.5 image processor engine giving it the ability to capture excellent images. The Parallel dual-camera uses “Binocular Vision” data, to quickly calculate focus distance and capture image while the  3IE Algorithmic Engine imitates a brain, using “Depth Perception” to determine and record a detailed, in-depth photograph .

With the Honor 6 Plus’ upgraded low light shooting ability, say goodbye to blurred night images as the dual lens offers double the amount of light captured and double the light sensitivity of a single lens, reducing image noise and making night photos appear clearer, brighter, and in better detail.

Those who love to take selfies will also be able to capture better self-portraits, and “groufies” with an improved 8MP front-facing camera and panoramic portrait mode.

A beautiful 5.5 inch screen requires a capable battery that can last as long as you do that is why the Honor 6 Plus is packed with a 3,600 mAh battery, which means it can last more than 2 days with normal use and even longer with ultra-power saving mode.

Powered by the lightning fast Kirin 925 octa-core processor and 3GB RAM, the Honor 6 Plus can handle any application you throw at it from playing HD games and multitasking apps.  But despite its power, the Honor 6+ still runs at a cool temperature thanks to its graphite design.

Accompanying the Honor 6 Plus, the brand also announced the release of its two mid-range devices the Honor 4C and 4X.

The Honor 4X provides great performance and great value with a 64-bit processor a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP front camera, dual-SIM technology, a long lasting battery and superfast wireless connectivity with 4G.

The Honor 4X’s 64-bit 1.2 GHz Octa-core processor provides 40% better performance than other 32-bit handsets, providing you with more power to stay connected and do the things you love. The Honor 4X sports a 5.5” HD screen with 16 million colors that provide an excellent visual experience whether its playing games or watching movies.

With a battery life of up to 48-hours of battery life and up to 7 days in ultra power mode, the Honor 4X certainly can keep up even with the busiest schedule.

The Honor 4X likewise has a range of camera features to inspire you to take more beautiful photographs and with Ultra snapshot, off-screen photo mode, all-focus mode, map view and a camera that can take photos in 0.6 seconds, you’ll never miss an opportunity to capture those precious moments.

Finally, for those looking for an entry-level handset without the entry level specifications, there is the Honor 4C offering a 720p display, 13MP camera and an octa-core CPU.

Do more on its 5-inch 720p display without the slowdown with the Honor 4C HiSilicon Kirin 620 SoC, 1.2GHz octa-core Cortex A53 CPU, 2GB RAM. It has an 8GB internal memory which can be
expanded via microSD slot (up to 32GB). It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and has the upgraded EMUI 3.0 for more personalization options.

The Honor 6 Plus priced at PhP 17,490.00. The Honor 4X and the 4C is now available at Php 8,290.00 and PhP 6,390.00.
