Disney/Pixar Announces 'Toy Story 4' Release Date

Nearly two decades after Pixar Animation Studios created the world's first computer-animated feature film with "Toy Story," it revealed plans for Disney•Pixar's "Toy Story 4," an adventure that returns audiences to the world of the studio's signature characters.

John Lasseter, director of the original "Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2," will direct the film, which opens a new chapter in the lives of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the "Toy Story" gang. The story was dreamt up by Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter and Lee Unkrich, the storytellers who have been the driving force behind all three "Toy Story" films.

"We love these characters so much; they are like family to us," said Lasseter. "We don't want to do anything with them unless it lives up to or surpasses what's gone before. 'Toy Story 3' ended Woody and Buzz's story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another 'Toy Story' movie. But when Andrew, Pete, Lee and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it. It was so exciting to me, I knew we had to make this movie—and I wanted to direct it myself."

Writing team Rashida Jones and Will McCormack ("Celeste and Jesse Forever") joined the project, and Pixar veteran Galyn Susman (ABC's "Toy Story OF TERROR!" and "Toy Story that Time Forgot") is producing.

The film is slated for release on June 16, 2017.

Iya Villania Reveals Reason Why Leaving ABS-CBN is a Wise Decision

"If only I still have MYX, baka mahirapan talaga akong magdecide," said Iya Villania when asked by some members of entertainment bloggers during her recent appearance at the 19th Anniversary of StarTalk on what made her decide to leave the Kapamilya network in favor of GMA Network.

"My biggest reason talaga is the opportunities that GMA-7 offered me aside of course the chance to work with Drew [Arellano, her husband]." Iya further said.

Iya was with the Kapuso network from 2002 to 2004 then moved to ABS-CBN, where she stayed for 10 years.

Iya already appeared in a Sunday All Stars performance recently and has a number of potential projects lined up.

They’ve [GMA] mentioned a soap, they’ve mentioned lifestyle, reality, hosting.

"Let’s just wait and see what materializes. The new shows naman will not start until early next year. So ngayon cooking cooking muna ng ideas, concept. Mga guestings. Kung wala mang regular shows for now I'll see to it na manggugulo ako sa mga shows nila."

She also clarified that there’s no grudge or bitterness with ABS-CBN brought about by her transfer to GMA.

Of course, no bridges were burned; everything was done in good terms. It was a clean exit. And it was all cleanly done, it was a sad goodbye, of course, and I’ll always be grateful for what they’ve done for me.

"I just wanted to use the next two years to explore and just make the most out of the two years that I don’t have a family yet."

Netizens Call Kathryn Bernardo Talentless Singer Killing OPM

With the upcoming release of her debut recording album under Star Records, people are wondering why Kathryn Bernardo snagged a recording contract when she can't even carry a tune live!

In a report by Alex Brosas published at Bandera on November 8, the entertainment writer enumerates reasons why the Teen Queen deserves an album.

But she’s popular and although she does not sing as good as our divas, meron naming producer na sumugal at binigyan siya ng album. Kaya lang, ang daming naloka when they learned that Kathryn will soon release her album.

Ang daming nainis, naasar, naimbiyerna. They felt that Daniel Padilla’s ka-love team does not deserve an album. “Putya tawa much wala pa sakalingkingan ni yassi si kath pagdating sa talent.

Kay julie anne plang wala na binatbat. Tapos may album na rin?” “Un na nga eh! binibigyan nila ng album ung mga sikat na artista nila para kahit gano kapangit ung boses nila bebenta at bebenta ung album dahil sa mga bobong fans na may napakacheap na taste when it comes to music and movies. gets mo?”

“Kathryn is one example of an overhyped talentless love team. As for the other half…hmmm.” One even blamed Anne Curtis for starting the trend of non-singing celebrities na walang takot nag-record ng album.

“Anne Curtis started it all. Now, practically anyone can have an album – a singing ability is no longer required. Sana wag na tangkilikin mga ganito. Kawawa naman OPM. I’m not a hater.

I just pity the current state of our music industry,” said one guy. “Kaya namamatay ang OPM dahil sa mga artistang pinipilit maging singer. Reklamo ng reklamo mga artistz at record labels pero sila rin naman walang reklamo sa mga nagsisinger singeran,” tili naman ng isa pa.

Trying to be rational, one guy said, “Hahaha!!! Inis k lng ksi ang mga IDOL mo walang binatbat..magaganda nga wla nman mga talent…hindi gya ng mga artist ng ABS-CBN magaganda na talented pa.”

Kathryn is utterly popular and this must be the reason kung bakit binigyan siya ng chance na magka-album. Otherwise, she could have been singing sa banyo lang.

Check out Kathryn sings "You Don't Know Me" in the video below:
