It's back! And now, it claims to be the largest, biggest reality show competition ever in the history of Philippine television.

Eleven teams will compete this season, from different walks of life, all with their own goals and reasons for joining the competition. They are:

Team Blondies

They're not “dumb blonds,” this is what Tina and Avy wants to prove by joining this competition. They also believe that their bond as sisters will be strengthen in this competition.

Team Chefs

Eji didn't think at first of asking Roch to join him in the competition. Both are race aficionados, but winning the race means more for Roch, since she plans to propose to her long-time, long-distance boyfriend.

Team Dating Couple

For Matt and Phoebe, joining this competition is like having a date around the country. Yet what they don't know is that this competition will test if their love is enough to keep them going on this race together.

Team Juan D [Direction]

Daniel and Charlie are both celebrities now, being part of the TV5's show “Juan Direction.” These half-foreigner and half-Filipino participants admit to having different characteristics, but will this get in their way of winning the race?

Team Mag-ama

The father and son tandem of daddy AJ and Jody is both an advantage and disadvantage, especially since their clashing personalities may come on the way. But they're ready to set those differences aside and win this competition for their family.

Team Magkapatid

The siblings Yna and Jet were raised in a well-off family. Joining the race, these two would like to prove that even if they we're raised provided with everything they need, they still have the drive to work for what they would like to have in life.

Team Mr.Pogi

Yes, you've guessed it right, JP and Kelvin met each other when they joined “Eat Bulaga's” Mr. Pogi competition. The two team up to help achieve their personal goals: Kelvin to help his family, JP to get a US Visa and fly back to his family in US.

Team Nerds

The first motivation of Vince and Ed in joining this competition is to end the stereotype that nerds are wimpy. Their main goal is simple: to win this race and allocate all the cash prize to “Tulong sa Kapwa Kapatid Foundation,” which they founded together.

Team Pinay World Champs

Chen, a Women’s Boxing Council (WBC) and Women’s International Boxing Association (WIBA) title-holder, and Luz, a body-builder joined the competition for personal reasons. Luz wants to get the house and lot for her child while Chen wants to start a gym business to train future champions.

Team Sexy Besties

They didn't plan to audition together, but RR and Jeck ended up going together at the audition of the show. These two beauties have personal goals, RR wants to prove that she's a renewed woman of God, while Jeck wants to make his hubby proud by finally going out of her comfort zone.

Team Travel Buddies

These plus-size ladies, Zarah and Osang, believe that their size don't hinder them of winning the race. Aside from aspiring every plus-size women out there to be proud of themselves, they simply want to have a free travel around the country together.

Winners of the Amazing Race Philippines Season 2 will get 2 house and lot, 2 brand-new KIA car and a whopping P2-million cash.

Hosted by Derek Ramsay, TARP Season 2 airs from Monday to Friday at 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays and Sunday at 9:00 p.m. on TV5.

Kathryn Bernardo Reacts to Daniel Padilla and Jasmine Curtis-Smith Relationship

Days after the controversial 90-second audio clip involving Teen King Daniel Padilla allegedly talking about his "special friend" Kapatid primetime princess Jasmine Curtis-Smith (check out HERE), Teen Queen and Daniel's perennial partner Kathryn Bernardo gives her stand on the issue.

In a live interview on "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" on Friday, Daniel's stage mom Karla Estrada said she immediately sought to speak with Kathryn Bernardo and her mother, Min, to ask them to give his son a chance to explain when he faces them.

Recalling her conversation with Kathryn's mother asking to meet her, Karla said: "Siya ang una kong tinawagan. Sabi ko, 'Tita Min, humihingi ako sa'yo ng paumanhin sa nagawang pagkakamali ni DJ.'"

According to Karla, she went to Kathryn's home at the height of tropical storm Mario, which battered parts of Metro Manila last September 19.

"Pinuntahan ko siya sa bahay niya, dahil importante sa akin si Kathryn at ang nanay niya. Maganda ang pinagsamahan namin. Mahal ko sila," Estrada said.

"Sinabi ko sa kanya, I told Kathryn na, 'Anak, hindi ako nandito para ipilit sa'yo si DJ, pero alam ko na merong puwang sa puso mo. Kilala mo ang tunay na pagkatao ng anak ko, at gusto ko 'yun ang makita mo.'"

Asked how Kathryn reacted, she said the young actress was holding back emotions, but did not say if she was sad.

"Tahimik siya. No, [she did not cry]. Pareho kaming nagpipigil ng emosyon, pero mas gusto ko kasing bigyan siya ng magagandang mensahe," Karla said.

Explaining why she initiated the meeting, the former actress continued, "Para hindi tumagal and para bago humarap si DJ (Padilla) ay bukas na ang kaisipan ni Kathryn."

British Sensations One Direction, The Vamps, The 1975 and Ed Sheeran Set to Invade Manila in 2015

The British invasion is just months away, mates! Due to the phenomenal success of their respective tours around the globe, FOUR of the biggest names in BRIT music are coming to Manila in 2015, namely One Direction, Ed Sheeran, The 1975 and The Vamps!

The invasion kicks off with the Manchester art-pop quartet THE 1975, who’ve been on the road seemingly non-stop with performances across the globe since the release of their debut album in 2013. After performing in a series of mall shows in Manila earlier this year, the Manchester four-piece are returning for their own headlining show in January 24, 2015 at SM MOA Arena. The 1975’s eponymous “Facedown” - the first of four EPs - in 2012 led to September 2013’s self-titled debut with an upbeat, electro pop-rock sound. Their hit singles with expressive lyrics coupled with their popular tours have led to their status as “Britain’s biggest new band.”

Get the chance to see British teenage foursome THE VAMPS take the stage on February 1, 2015 at SM MOA Arena. This British group unleashed their maiden effort 'Meet The Vamps' in the UK with the record reachingNo.2 on the charts on April 2014. This hit album included three singles, “Can We Dance,” “Wild Heart” and “Last Night,” plus 12 other catchy tunes.

In addition, ace British singer/songwriter and multi-platinum recording artist ED SHEERAN will perform his chart-topping singles at the SM MOA Arena come March 12 next year. Best-described as an authentic blend of soulful folk undertones with a mix of hip-hop/R&B hooks, his latest album “X” has already won worldwide acclaim, debuting at #1 in the U.S. on the Billboard 200 as well as other countries around the globe. Sheeran’s debut album “+” reaped multi-platinum sales around the world, and earned the British singer-songwriter three Grammy Award nominations, including nods for “Song Of The Year” and “Best New Artist.”

As one of the best-regarded British pop superstars of this generation, ONE DIRECTION will perform for two consecutive nights at the SM Concert Grounds on March 21-22, 2015 as part of their “On the Road Again Tour 2015. Recently, One Direction announced their eagerly anticipated fourth studio album titled Four, set to be released on November 2014. Formed on the Simon Cowell-produced "The X Factor" in 2010, One Direction is composed of five young men from the UK: Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson.

'Be Careful With My Heart' Ends on November 28

After more than two years on air, Philippines' most-watched morning TV series "Be Careful With My Heart" will conclude on November 28 as announced by its lead stars Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap.

Since it debuted in July 2012, "Be Careful With My Heart" has remained the No. 1 daytime program in the Philippines, according to Kantar Media.

The popularity of the series has also spawned a line of merchandise, a gold-selling official soundtrack album, and a wedding magazine special, among others.

The New York Festivals-nominated series was, at one point, also set to be translated into a movie. However, due to the "tight schedule" in filming the TV series, the big-screen version was eventually pulled out from the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Originally slated for a one-season run, "Be Careful With My Heart" initially centered on Maya dela Rosa (Sta. Maria) as a barrio lass with big dreams, and her love story with Richard Lim (Yap), a widowed businessman with three children.

Due to the series' popularity, it has been extended numerous times, with several "milestones" in the relationship of the nanny-turned-flight attendant and her former employer marking highlights throughout the program's run.

These developments in their love story also became worldwide trending topics on Twitter, from their first date, first exchange of "I love you's," first kiss, to Richard's wedding proposal to Maya.

Over the two-year run of "Be Careful With My Heart," Maya and Richard have gotten married, welcomed twins, and adjusted to a family life riddled with challenges.

Last July, the show celebrated its second anniversary on air with a grand concert at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City -- a culmination of sorts of the cast's world tour in the past months.

"Be Careful With My Heart" also stars Mutya Orquia, Janella Salvador, Jerome Ponce, Aiza Seguerra, and Sylvia Sanchez. It is under the direction of Jeffrey Jeturian and Mervyn Brondial.

Jennifer Garner, Steve Carell and Ed Oxenbould Bring 'Alexander' Characters to Life

 Walt Disney Studios Press Release

Walt Disney Pictures' big-screen adaptation of “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” required just the right family. “We assembled possibly the world’s loveliest family,” says director Miguel Arteta. “We wanted the audience to have fun, but also to feel this family’s warmth.”

The cast, adds the director, brought so much warmth to the big screen because they felt it on the set. “They all ended up falling in love—with each other,” says Arteta. “We had that spirit that you hope to get—but you don’t always get. The bond you see is real.”

Filmmakers cast a wide net to fill the role of the title character—casting directors saw more than 500 kids. “We had to find just right person to play Alexander,” says Arteta. “We didn’t want a typical child actor. Alexander needed to be the underdog. He’s like the one kid in the otherwise-perfect family portrait with his eyes closed.

The director enlisted his wife to help scan hundreds of audition tapes. “The moment this Australian kid actor, Ed Oxenbould, came on, we both saw something special. He’s super smart, sweet and generous.”

It was the actor’s likability and his ability to empathize that won him the role of Alexander. “He’s a 12-year-old every-man,” says screenwriter Rob Lieber. “He has an understated charm to him and I think that’s what Alexander’s all about.

The incomparable Steve Carell fills the shoes of Alexander’s dad, Ben Cooper, who kicks off the film as a stay-at-home dad hoping to rejoin the ranks of the employed. But when he lands a huge job interview, he’s unable to line up a babysitter in time and is forced to bring baby Trevor with him—which isn’t exactly the first impression he’d hoped to make. “He’s been unemployed for seven months,” says Lieber, “so he has a lot riding on this opportunity.”

Adds Arteta, “He’s the ultimate optimist, but this terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day tries his patience to the point that he finally freaks out. It’s a lot of fun to see a sunny character like that finally lose it.

Jennifer Garner was called in to portray super mom Kelly Cooper—a force of nature. Shouldering the breadwinning duties for the family, Kelly secretly craves more time with her family. She starts her terrible day behind schedule and finds herself battling a potentially career-ending publishing snafu. “It’s a big moment in her career,” says Lieber. “There’s a celebrity reading that day, and a rather unfortunate misprint is discovered at the last minute. Everything goes wrong.”

Even Alexander has to admit that big brother Anthony is a “total winner,” which can’t be easy. Dylan Minnette was tapped to portray to successful teen, who pretty much has it made in life—just ask him—till the bad day strikes and his reflection reveals what may be his first zit—ever. His perfect life continues to unravel—highlighted by a driving test that doesn’t exactly go as planned. The film, says Arteta, showcases Minnette’s comic abilities. “I don’t think he realized how funny he was,” the director says of the actor. “But he came in and really committed to what was happening, and in doing so, he was hilarious. He even made Jennifer Coolidge, who’s a comic genius, really laugh.”

Kerris Dorsey was cast as Alexander’s sister Emily, an aspiring actress who’s looking forward to her debut as Peter Pan in the school play. “It’s probably the biggest day of her middle school life,” says Lieber, “but she wakes up with a horrible cold.”

Unwilling to let a cold keep her from performing, Emily turns to cough medicine—again and again and again. “She ends up flying around the stage for her school play and destroying everything,” says Arteta. “Kerris is quirky, yet grounded, and she makes it feel real. She makes you laugh and also feel for the character at the same time.”

Twins Zoey and Elise Vargas crawled up to the plate to portray the youngest Cooper—baby Trevor. Even Trevor suffers a bad day—no Cooper is spared—when his beloved bumblebee pacifier is unwittingly destroyed. Trevor finds little solace in a green marker, despite valiant efforts.

Arteta says that like Alexander, he’s decided bad days are pretty much unavoidable. “I have a lot of bad days when everything seems to go wrong—the fridge door swings too fast and knocks over a bunch of glass bottles making me late for every appointment thereafter. I seem to have a lot of those days. I think I’m the right director for this film.”

Opening across the Philippines on October 15, 2014, “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International through Columbia Pictures.

James Reid and Nadine Lustre Promise Not To Fall In Love, Why?

 Tapatan Ni Tunying Press Release

James Reid and Nadine Lustre, or popularly known as JaDine, will not waste their second chance to fame so they decided to set aside their romantic interests first to focus on their respective careers, they shared in “Tapatan Ni Tunying” airing this Thursday (September 25).

We experienced how an opportunity was gone because we neglected it, we did not take it seriously, and we did not focus on it. We don’t want that to happen again,” Nadine says.

James was given his first break in showbiz after being named as the Big Winner of “Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash,” but he did not pursue acting back then because he didn’t know what he wanted to do or to be that time.

It seems that I wasn’t that serious. I was young. I didn’t know what I wanted to do. I didn’t know what my passion was,” James shares.

As for Nadine, she started performing on television and playing bit roles on movies when she was a child, but she admits that she wasted the break that came along her way.

I was given a teleserye before. I did not focus on it and it seemed that I was just playing. There were no follow up projects after that,” Nadine tells.

The two hit it big when they starred in blockbuster movies “Diary ng Panget” and “Talk Back and You’re Dead.” They recently signed an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN and will soon star in “Wansapanataym presents My App Boyfie.”

When asked if she thinks JaDine could reach the success achieved by Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s loveteam KathNiel, Nadine answers, “Maybe it will take time. We have to go through with lots of things first.”

Don’t miss “Tapatan ni Tunying” this Thursday (September 25) at 4:30 PM on ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold. For updates, follow @TNTunying on Twitter and Instagram, or like its Facebook page www.facebook.com/TNTunying.

The Infamous Doll "Annabelle" Terrifies Manila Beginning October 1

 Warner Bros. Pictures Press Release

Annabelle, the infamous doll at the center of one of paranormal experts Ed and Lorraine Warren’s most profiled cases, made her terrifying screen debut in James Wan’s box office sensation “The Conjuring.” Even while shooting the film, Wan and producer Peter Safran were already entertaining the idea that the not-so-innocent doll needed an entire movie of her own.

Wan, who has always been fascinated with the Annabelle case, says, “We know she’s so bad that, even after all this time, she still has to be kept locked up ...but, how did she get that way?

Safran adds, “How does something so charming, so sweet, become a conduit for pure evil and destruction?

Now, New Line Cinema’s supernatural thriller “Annabelle” answers those questions by tracing where it all began for the terrifying doll.

Wan and Safran approached Wan’s longtime director of photography, John R. Leonetti, to direct the film. “I have been very fortunate to have had John there right by my side, shooting on most of my films, so it was a natural progression for John to direct ‘Annabelle,’” Wan attests. “His visual style, his passion for this story and his innate ability to connect with cast and crew was the total package and we were very fortunate to have him on this film.

Leonetti, who crafted chilling shots for Wan on “The Conjuring” and “Insidious” films, among others, was just as intrigued with the sinister doll’s beginnings and translating that to the screen, this time as director.

I’m a huge horror fan,” says Leonetti. “I also love collaborating with James and Peter and am thrilled they had faith in me to take the helm. I couldn’t wait to bring all that I’ve experienced shooting with James, who is the master of scares, and put it into this project.”

Safran notes, “John and James have worked together so extensively they really have a mind meld going, and the three of us worked so closely on ‘The Conjuring’ that there’s a certain trust among us as a creative team. They’re tremendous partners in the process.”

Leonetti immediately responded to screenwriter Gary Dauberman’s script positing how the doll had turned devious. “Gary’s take on how this might have all started was great; the story was suspenseful and had such a cool psychological layer,” he comments.

Dauberman had been eager to work with the team that had frightened him so intensely with the previous film. “I couldn’t wait to play in this playground with these guys,” he offers. “Everybody loves a good scare, and that was our number one goal.”

Leonetti adds, “Annabelle is an incredible way to facilitate fright because she’s real, and nothing is scarier than that.”

Everyone’s had a toy that they’ve thought was alive at night,” says Annabelle Wallis, who stars in the film as an expectant stay-at-home wife who also happens to collect dolls. “It definitely resonated with me and I think will resonate with a lot of other people too.

Ward Horton stars opposite Wallis. The story also made a big impression on him. “I loved the script,” he offers. “It rattled me to the core at the same time that it made me care about the characters.”

Alfre Woodard had never done a supernatural thriller, but “thought it would be fun. To tell you the truth this film really disturbed me because it creates a very convincing reality where truly alarming paranormal events take place.”

Leonetti notes, “There are realms beyond our senses we can’t comprehend and there are entities we can’t fathom. The mythology of demonology will always fascinate people - and mess with their heads…especially a possessed doll that is beautiful and creepy all at the same time. We had a lot of fun with that.

Opening across the Philippines on October 01, 2014, “Annabelle” is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment company.

Juan Karlos Labajo's Life Story Turned Into a TV Drama Special

“The Voice Kids Philippines” second runner-up Juan Karlos “JK” Labajo will inspire the viewers of ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya” through his life story that will be aired this Saturday (September 27). The 13-year-old “The Voice Kids” heartthrob will portray himself in the upcoming episode.

Contrary to public perception that he is well-off, the half-German and half-Filipino teen singer will share in “MMK” the life of poverty that he faced since birth. Together with his grandmother and uncle who raised him, JK grew up thinking that he should work hard for everything that their family has.

A lot of people think that I come from a rich family because of the way I look. But what they don’t know is that we had huge debts in Cebu and we transferred from one house to another because of poverty,” said JK who grew up not knowing his German father while his mother was far away because of work.

When did JK realize he wanted to become a singer? How did he manage to wow the three coaches despite the fact that he lost his mother five days before his audition in “The Voice Kids?”

Also part of the upcoming episode are Phoemela Baranda, Janus Del Prado, Miguel Vergara, Jeric Raval, and Ces Quesada. It is directed by Garry Fernando and written by Benson Logronio and Arah Jell Badayos. “MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos and creative manager Mel Mendoza-del Rosario.

Capturing the hearts of Filipino viewers all over the world for the past 23 years, “Maalaala Mo Kaya” has legions of fans from different generations who cried, laughed, fell in love, and got inspired through the real-life narratives of the show’s letter-senders.

Richard Poon Join TFC and the Filipino Community at the ‘Galing ng Filipino’ Festival Parade in Tokyo, Japan

 TFC Press Release

The end of the summer season in Japan draws near but the sunny, festive mood continues as the Filipino community (Fil Comm) welcomed thousands to the 3rd installment of the biggest event in the country, the Philippine Festival in Ueno Park, Central Tokyo just recently, in partnership with premiere network The Filipino Channel (TFC).

The “Philippine Festival,” previously known as the “Barrio Fiesta sa Yokohama,” has been bringing the tradition of the Filipino fiesta to Japan since 2012 with the support of the Philippine Embassy headed by His Excellency Manuel Lopez, Ambassador of the Philippines to Japan.  Every year has become a showcase of the country’s cuisine, costumes and other elements of its culture.   This year, the fiesta supported by the Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) as well, honors the time-honored friendship between the country and the Philippines.

Galing ng Filipino, Ituloy Mo!

This year, media sponsor and staunch partner TFC also has a reason to celebrate as the network celebrates its 20th anniversary.  ABS-CBN Asia Pacific Managing Director Ailene Averion said that TFC’s celebration and the community’s festivities are intertwined.

In the recreation of the Philippines fiestas, the Fil Comm promotes the Filipino culture and talent.  This goal resonates with TFC’s own theme which pays tribute to the ‘Galing ng Filipino’ (Greatness of the Filipino).  TFC forges ahead with the ‘Greatness of the Filipino’ by sharing world-class talents which ABS-CBN TFC is known for, in events such as these.”

She adds, “But beyond the entertainment value, TFC’s role lies in how it helps Filipinos remain connected with pieces of home found in homegrown content and these kinds of events.”

For its anniversary offering for the Philippine Festival, TFC brought Big Band Crooner and ASAP Sessionista Richard Poon, much to the delight of Filipino fans.  Consistent with TFC’s anniversary theme “Galing ng Filipino, ituloy mo!” Poon showcased the world-class Filipino talent via his jazzy ensemble, including the well-applauded Rey Valera original “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko” which turned the crowd nostalgic.

After Poon’s performance, TFC treated the fans to a trivia game where two lucky Filipinas won Poon’s albums while others got the chance to see him up close and personal.  To give the other members of the audience a memorabilia of his performance, Poon indulged the Pinoys in a group ‘selfie,’ a trend whereby people take photos of themselves or their companions.

Filipinos' 'Pagiging Masiyahin' or Love for Fun Showcased

Meantime, true to the Filipino's love for fun or 'pagiging masiyahin,' community members recreated more elements of the fiesta via the cultural performances and colorful booths displaying both sumptuous cuisine and a sundry of goods.

TFC on the other hand, recreated the Pinoy sala (family living room), complete with veritable picture frames of Kapamilya stars, reminiscent of family pictures that adorn homes back in the homeland.  In TFC’s recreated sala, the team conducted a mini reality segment where attendees were asked to sit in and watch TFC shows and react naturally.  Mechelle Gumapac of Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture showed the best reaction and won a gift certificate and a smartphone.

From sights and sounds, the “Philippine Festival” in partnership with TFC, continues to honor the tradition that is the fiesta and the best there is in Philippine culture and talent.

Chloë Grace Moretz Finds Comfort in the Hands of 'The Equalizer'

Columbia Pictures Press Release

Coming off the success of “If I Stay,” Chloë Grace Moretz now joins the cast of Columbia Pictures' new action-thriller “The Equalizer” as Teri – a young girl who has been forced into a life of intimidation and terror. After meeting with McCall (Denzel Washington), her story will reawaken in him a desire for justice.

For Moretz, it’s easy to see that the title role is perfect for Washington. “He’s so Denzel in the way he does his job,” she says, “McCall can be the most sweet, charming guy, with a huge smile on his face – and the next minute, he’s a killer, and you’re thinking, ‘WHOA! That happened quickly!’

Of her role as Teri, the young actress says, “When I first heard that the character is a prostitute I thought that it would be a `Taxi Driver' type of role – pushing the boundaries a bit. But I was surprised. The role doesn't glorify prostitution nor make it cotton-candy. You never see her in the actual act of prostitution. The focus isn't on her profession but who she is as a person. You see that there is still a spark in her eye and that she yearns for something greater and if she can get out of this scary world, she could go on to a normal life. That’s what I loved about the character – this inner hope that was built into her story.”

Moretz says that inner hope is the basis of the bond that Teri forms with McCall. “He sees this dream in her,” she says. “It’s like there are two panes of glass – you have this terrified little girl, and right in front of it, a girl who’s been thrust into a terrifying world, putting on the face of a total badass to survive.”

Denzel Washington says that Teri, too, has a gift for looking beyond that first pane of glass. “She’s in the business of reading men – whether it’s a natural gift or she’s developed it through her profession,” Washington says. “Not to say she sees right through him, but she can see the pain, she can see the hurt.”

The first time of meeting him, she cracks his code,” says Moretz. “She looks him right in the eyes. She notices his OCD tics – turning his book a hundred times, moving his stuff around. But it’s incredibly charming to her, to see someone who cares so much about things, when everyone around her is just going through the motions.

Once she had the role, Moretz researched the character’s background. “There are girls who have been brought into rings from all over – from Russia, from Scandinavia,” she says. “I went to an amazing organization called Children of the Night – girls from all over America call a hotline number and they’re off the streets and in a home that cares for them. I didn’t want to exploit these girls – I’m an actor portraying a role – but as a girl, I wanted to understand. Meeting those girls not only helped me to be Teri truthfully and show who she is, but it allowed me, as a 16-year-old girl, to feel grateful and to put a spotlight on the organization.

Last year, Moretz starred as Carrie White in the remake of the cult classic “Carrie,” alongside Julianne Moore; and reprised her role as fan favorite Hit-Girl in “Kick Ass 2," the sequel to Matthew Vaughn’s cult-classic film, Kick-Ass.” Her breakout role as ‘Hit-Girl’ in “Kick-Ass,” followed by a starring role in Matt Reeves’ remake of “Let Me In,” landed her on TIME Magazine’s prestigious Top 10 Performances of the Year list, as well as, the New York Times Best Performances of 2010 list.
Moretz also starred with Sir Ben Kingsley in Martin Scorsese’s critically acclaimed “Hugo,” which garnered 11 Oscar nominations. This was followed by a leading role in Tim Burton’s “Dark Shadows,” alongside Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeffier.

Opening across the Philippines in October 01, 2014, “The Equalizer” is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.

Jane Oineza Launches Own BUM Statement Shirts

BUM Press Release

On Monday, September 22, BUM Equipment will unveil its launching of G.I. (Girl It’s) Jane collection named after one of its youth brand ambassador Jane Oineza, who is fresh from her successful third finish in a recently concluded Pinoy Big Brother All In Edition, a hit reality show of ABS-CBN Channel 2.

BUM’s move to provide Oineza with a collection named after her does not just spotlight the young star’s crowd-drawing potentials, but as an inspiration to the youth of today to be uniquely strong and brave amidst any criticism.

There are two categories for this particular collection - The Statement Shirts and the Skater Tops with Skirts.

Jane Oineza’s Statement Shirts

Once there was this quote that perfectly describes Jane, “It’s hard to be yourself in a world that wants you to be like them.” But when she was just one of the housemates, she was brave enough to hold onto what she strongly believed in. Thus, the statement shirts were born.

The statement shirts texts will read: ‘I am Misunderstood’, ‘I’m Real’, and ‘I am Stronger’, respectively and are all printed on black shirts. These speaks of Oineza’s transformation for the past months, which truly defines ‘who’ she is as an individual, as a young talented celebrity.

Oineza, being a youth brand ambassador is a reflection of a young woman who is brave enough to face all the critics and stay true to herself, no matter what.

This collection will be the first one to come out in the market on the said mentioned date and can be purchased at all BUM boutiques nationwide.

Jane’s Skater Tops and Skirts

Being a young lady, apart from being a celebri-TEEN, she prefers the preppy look. Jane is the ideal image who projects that aura of a ‘privileged’ lifestyle. She stays simple and fresh-looking with her choice of clothing combining it with the accessories without overpowering her real personality, that’s what she is.

As young lady who just blossomed after celebrating her 18th birthday inside the PBB House, Jane Oineza along with BUM, a thriving brand apparel is launching three variants of skater tops and skirts under the G.I. Jane collection as well.

Though black in theme, the Skater Skirts comes in three designs; black skull print, white skull print and diamond pattern print. While G.I. Jane skater tops are spandex long sleeves with accentuations to differ one tops from the other. These items can be bought in pairs or can be bought separately.

The said girly-themed collection will soon be available in November this year. Also, these will be exclusively available in all SM department stores.

Jane Thoughts on these Collections.

I am excited with the collection. And it truly is me. It spells out who I am on and off camera,” Jane shares.

The collections are something that any young lady would grab and own several pieces because of its message and the design. The G.I. Jane collections do not just reflect Jane’s personality but can be identifiable by any female growing up in the world of ‘peer pressures’ and stay committed to her ideals and do not conform to the standards dictated of the ‘world’ around her.

I do hope that even with the line of clothing via BUM, I can be a living testimony to girls out there to standout and not just be one of the many girls corrupted by any sort of ideals.”

To know more about BUM latest collection-- G.I. Jane, visit its social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram via @officialbumph or visit its official website www.bumequipment.com.ph.
