Janine Martinez Dead After Wishing to Die So She Could Stalk Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla

Ever wonder why Janine Martinez is trending worldwide on Twitter?

You might be asking, who the h$%## is Janine Martinez?

Based on several responses, Janine is a solid KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla) fan who died of leukemia at around 6am today.

So what's the big deal?

Based on her last post on Twitter - a day before she died, Janine wishes to die early so she could freely follow Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla during the shooting of their latest movie "She's Dating the Gangster."

Is this some kind of a hoax?

According to a KathNiel fan group KathNielLov3rs Janine Martinez is not exactly Janine Martinez but Janine Del Carmen and she's not a KathNiel fan but Nadine Lustre's die-hard follower. And she just faked her death to get her much-desired online fame.

Another Twitter user @johnhermris proves this claim is true based on her post below:

Attention whore?

No doubt.

Aina Solano is Evicted - PBB All In 4th Eviction Night Result

For the last three weeks in a row, people chose three male housemates to leave the most popular house in the country.

But on Saturday night's live 4th eviction night episode of PBB All In, raking a measly 32.47% of text votes, Aina Solano, "The Dancing Bombshell ng Boracay" leaves the PBB house.

Ranty Portento, who decided to sacrifice his PBB journey when he opted to give up winning the "Insta Save" task early this week in favor of his friendship with Joshua Garcia, was saved by public after getting majority of text votes this week.

Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt's Latest Starrer “Edge of Tomorrow” Earns $33 on Its Worldwide Debut

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Village Roadshow Pictures’ “Edge of Tomorrow,” starring Oscar® nominee Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt and directed by Doug Liman, has earned an outstanding $33 million at the box office in early international openings ahead of its June 6 worldwide debut. The announcement was made today by Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, President of International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.

“Edge of Tomorrow” had a spectacular opening in Korea, with an estimated KRW 3.9b ($3.8m) on 681 screens, including sneak preview showings. Its Wednesday debut marked the biggest opening of all time for Warner Bros. Pictures in Korea, as well as the fourth biggest opening industry-wide, for that market. The film also opened yesterday at #1 in Denmark and Norway, as well as France, where it was #1 in both admissions and box office even amid strong competition from U.S. product and a popular local comedy.

Kwan Vandenberg said, “The sensational results on Wednesday, coupled with the film’s excellent playability in territories where it debuted last weekend, give us great momentum as we launch in 36 additional countries this weekend, including such major markets as Russia, Australia, Mexico and China.”

The early box office results come on the heels of the film’s groundbreaking worldwide event when, for the first time ever, three fan premieres were held in three different cities - London, Paris and New York - in just one day, “resetting” the red carpet as Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt raced the clock to make each event before time ran out.

Sue Kroll, Warner Bros. Pictures President, Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution, noted, “Tom is a huge star globally and has been a phenomenal partner as we’ve introduced this exciting and original adventure to audiences everywhere. The film has been enthusiastically embraced by critics and consumers alike. Tom has gone above and beyond to support the film, traveling all over the world to share it with fans, and these incredible efforts have made a tremendous impact as we gear up to release ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ worldwide.”

The epic action of “Edge of Tomorrow” unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world.

Major William Cage (Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop - forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again…and again.

But with each battle, Cage becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Blunt). And, as Cage and Rita take the fight to the aliens, each repeated encounter gets them one step closer to defeating the enemy.

Now playing across the Philippines in 2D, 3D, IMAX 3D and 4DX formats, “Edge of Tomorrow” is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Philippines' Most Influential Women Salute “The Legal Wife”

Like the rest of the "The Legal Wife" viewers worldwide, the ‘most exciting finale’ of the love story of Monica de Villa (played by Angel Locsin) is also a hot topic among some of the country’s most influential women.

According to Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, she would love to see Monica and Adrian (Jericho Rosales) not ending up together.

I don’t like a happy ending. I prefer a realistic one. Because I believe that when you try to pick up the pieces of a broken relationship, you’ll be wounded. So, just sweep them away,” said Kris.

Newspaper columnist Mons Romulo, meanwhile, admires the brave storytelling of how a wife recovered from her ordeal after finding out that her husband was cheating on her with her best friend.

There lots of lessons that we can learn from the show. In fact, even though I've been cheated on before, I still learned something from the series. Thanks to ‘The Legal Wife’ because it is able to highlight the true strength of a legal wife and the sanctity of marriage. Monica was right when she showed that she can be happy alone,” Mons shared about the hit primetime series that will air its ‘most exciting finale’ next Friday (June 13).

TV host, producer, and businesswoman Daphne Oseña-Paez further salutes the drama series that has empowered a lot of women viewers.

Now, people on Facebook are exchanging opinions about the show and how much they can relate with Monica. Because of ‘The Legal Wife,’ viewers now know that the concept of being a martyr wife is outdated and everyone should be a ‘strong wife’ like Monica,” said Daphne.

Don't miss the last two weeks of "The Legal Wife" every night after "Ikaw Lamang" on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida. Imagine Dragons' Original Songs Headline "Transformers: Age of Extinction" Soundtrack Album

Director Michael Bay, film composer Steve Jablonsky and Paramount Pictures are collaborating with the Grammy Award-winning band Imagine Dragons to feature the band’s original music in the upcoming film “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” one of the most anticipated movies of the summer.

Following an early footage screening of the film, Imagine Dragons wrote the original song “Battle Cry,” which Bay used in critical points in the film. Additionally, the band contributed original music during the scoring process by recording cues with Jablonsky, the film’s composer, and Hans Zimmer, who assisted in the process. The collaboration resulted in added depth to the sound of the film.

We’re incredibly lucky that Dan, Wayne, Ben and Daniel were available to work with us,” says director Bay. “I remember being drawn to the emotion of ’Demons’ and ’Radioactive’ the first time I heard those songs, and I knew I wanted that same energy and heart for this movie. They’ve created a really epic, otherworldly sound for ’Battle Cry.’”

“The `Transformers' franchise has set the bar for cinematic innovation over the years, says Alex Da Kid, label head at KIDinaKORNER records. We are excited to collaborate with Michael Bay and Paramount Pictures and view this as an incredible global platform.”

Imagine Dragons will perform its new single live at the film’s worldwide premiere in Hong Kong, one of the locations in the film, on June 19th.

Imagine Dragons are Dan Reynolds (vocals), Wayne Sermon (guitar), Ben McKee (bass), and Daniel Platzman (drums).

In “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” four years after the catastrophic events in Chicago, Earth has mostly recovered from the great war between the Autobots and the Decepticons. But when Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), a struggling inventor, and his daughter, Tessa (Nicola Peltz) discover Optimus Prime, they bring down Decepticons, Autobots and the US government on them.

Now with the Decepticons plotting to destroy Earth once again, and a paranoid government official on his tail, Cade must join the Autobots, and Optimus Prime must align with the ancient Dinobots to save Earth.

Opening across the Philippines on June 25, “Transformers: Age of Extinction” is distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.

“PBB All In” Housemates Daniel, Jayme, Michele and Ranty Refuse to Follow Big Brothers Command

Big Brother has given out a series of challenges to the “Pinoy Big Brother All In” housemates in their weekly task called “Yes All We Can” in order to have them face their greatest fears and test their beliefs and determination. The highlight involves Big Brother asking the religious and reserved Jayme to pose nude for a painting.

Jayme went through a painstakingly emotional process and even consulted her fellow housemates and the Bible before finally deciding to accept the challenge. She would have been joined by Daniel, Michele, and Ranty, but in the end, Jayme’s principles prevailed and she backed out from the task.

The weekly budget depends on this crucial task, but it would have also helped in the advocacy of an artist, who helps and teaches other people to paint without charging for it and who would have done the nude painting.

Sacrifice seems to be the main theme this week in “PBB All In” as Ranty also saved teen housemate Joshua from the threat of eviction. They, together with Aina, were given a chance by Big Brother to save themselves from being nominated by escaping from a locked jail cell using materials inside the cell. It was Ranty who successfully assembled the materials together and got the key to his jail cell first, but he waited for Joshua for almost an hour to finish and get out of the cell.

As a result, Ranty and Aina became the official nominees for eviction this week. Who will be saved and who will finally get booted out of the house?

To save your favorite housemate, just text BB and send it to 2331 for Globe, TM, Sun Cellular, and ABS-CBNmobile subscribers, and to 231 for Smart at Talk ‘N Text subscribers. A text vote costs P2.50 for Globe, TM, Smart, and Talk ‘N Text, P2 for Sun Cellular, and only P1 for ABS-CBNmobile.

Tune in to “Pinoy Big Brother All In” with Toni Gonzaga weeknights after “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” on Primetime Bida” and “Pinoy Big Brother All In Uber” with Bianca Gonzalez, John Prats, and Robi Domingo after “Moon of Desire” on Kapamilya Gold. Viral Video and Poster Art: "Deliver Us From Evil" Movie

Columbia Pictures has just unleashed the new, domestic (U.S.) poster art for supernatural thriller “Deliver Us from Evil” starring Eric Bana and Edgar Ramirez, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

The studio has also brought online a viral video on the real-life NYPD sergeant, Ralph Sarchie, who inspired the film. You can check the video below:

Directed by Scott Derrickson’s (“Sinister,” “The Exorcism of Emily Rose”), “Deliver Us from Evil” tells the story of New York police officer Ralph Sarchie (Bana) who, struggling with his own personal issues, begins investigating a series of disturbing and inexplicable crimes. He joins forces with an unconventional priest (Ramirez), schooled in the rituals of exorcism, to combat the frightening and demonic possessions that are terrorizing their city.

Based upon the 2001 book titled “Beware the Night” which details Sarchie’s bone-chilling real-life cases, the film also stars Olivia Munn, Joel McHale and Sean Harris.

Opening across the Philippines on July 02 2014, “Deliver Us From Evil” is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.

Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler Take a Chance at Love Again in "Blended"

In Warner Bros. Pictures' new comedy “Blended,” Drew Barrymore stars as single mother who, after a disastrous blind date with single dad Jim (Adam Sandler) agree on only one thing: they never want to see each other again.

But when they each sign up separately for a fabulous family vacation with their kids, they are all stuck sharing a suite at a luxurious African safari resort for a week.

“Blended” marks the third collaboration between stars Sandler and Barrymore, following their successful onscreen pairings in the hit romantic comedies “The Wedding Singer” and “50 First Dates.”

I think Adam and I have always been in sync and really bring out the best in each other,” Barrymore says. “I love working with him. We’re constantly thinking about how to make our characters more personal and genuine and there’s a lot of care that goes into it, but at the same time we can let go and be silly and free together.”

Not surprisingly, their collaboration on “Blended” came about organically, when their hectic work and family schedules finally dovetailed into a lunch date - and, from there, a renewed excitement about working together again. Says Barrymore, “We both felt it was time; let’s get something going. And then, to Adam’s credit, he found us the perfect project - a big, fun comedy with real, touching moments.”

“Blended”not only offered the two stars the chance to recreate their magic on screen but to expand their romantic repertoire as single parents Jim and Lauren, in a scenario that many people can relate to. While struggling to make a living and raise their kids as best they can, looking for love is a more complicated proposition than it once was, involving after-school schedules, babysitters, curfews and tough questions. Priorities have shifted. No longer a matter of just finding that one special person, it’s now about finding that one special person who will also be good for your children. Very often, it’s the dreams and desires of the adults that are the last item on the list.

Who doesn’t want to laugh and escape into something that is actually about real life, and family, and love, and the day-to-day things we all go through with our marriages and our kids,” asks Barrymore. “It’s very relevant, and there are some heartfelt, meaningful moments in this movie that will definitely touch you, but make you feel good at the same time.

Setting the scene of Jim and Lauren’s first meeting, Sandler says, “She’s recently divorced, and my character, Jim, is widowed. They were both married a long time and they’re really not ready to date again, but their friends keep telling them they have to move on. So, somehow they get set up on this blind date and it doesn’t go well. They’re nervous. He says all the wrong things and drinks her beer, and then she ends up choking on her soup and that’s pretty much the high point of the evening.”

They almost start to get into a rhythm several times but it goes awry each time and that’s so true to life,” adds Barrymore. “How many times have we met someone and maybe liked them, and had things in common, but just couldn’t get it right somehow. And you think, ‘Why does it keep going off the rails with this person?’”

Drew Barrymore has been a favorite of film audiences for almost three decades. She is also enjoying success behind the camera as a producer under her own Flower Films banner, which has produced such hits as “He’s Just Not That Into You,” “Never Been Kissed” and “50 First Dates,” and the actioners “Charlie’s Angels” and “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.” In addition to producing the “Charlie’s Angels” features, Barrymore joined Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu to star in both films, which, together, grossed more than half a billion dollars worldwide. She is currently executive producing the Esquire Network reality series “Knife Fight,” a dynamic live cooking competition, featuring top chefs and celebrity judges, now in its second season.

Barrymore won a 2010 Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award® and earned an Emmy Award nomination for her performance opposite Jessica Lange in HBO’s “Grey Gardens.”

Opening across the Philippines on June 11, “Blended” is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment company.

Athletic Tandem of Piolo Pascual, Gerald Anderson and Gretchen Ho Set to Shape Aspirations of the Filipino Youth

With an obvious boom in the Philippines’ sports scene, aspiring young athletes from all over have started to dream even bigger, reaching for higher heights in their respective fields.

This is something that the all-new sports documentary and advocacy program, “Team U,” seeks to address - hitting television screens on ABS-CBN Sports+Action and Balls channels with the aim to help these young Filipino athletes realize their dreams through inspirational stories.

Hosted by two of the country’s biggest names and biggest sources of inspiration in both the entertainment industry and the field of sports, “Team U” will be headlined by Piolo Pascual and Gerald Anderson.

It will be a 30-minute show that features stories of young men and women in the field of sports who are on a quest to bring pride and glory to the country through their athletic talents. “Team U” presents the reality that a lot of young Filipino athletes do have that inborn knack for being athletic—but that this is something that oftentimes remains undiscovered and unfulfilled due to a lack of support, access to financial aid, scholarships, proper training gear, and the like.

It is with this that “Team U” also aims to encourage viewers and organizations from both public and private sectors to be part of building a Sports School - an institution that aims to develop athletes through proper training and development under the wing of acclaimed sports practitioners.

This Sports School intends to provide an opportunity for every Filipino child to dream and live out their passion for sports through education.

For its first season, the show will travel to three schools that are being looked at as pilot regional campuses under the Sports School, namely Rizal High School in Pasig City, Abellana National High School in Cebu, and General Santos City High School in General Santos City.

The show is also hosted by other popular names in the world of sports : Gretchen Ho, Armand Del Rosario, Marco Benitez & Coach Eski Ripoll.

Don’t miss out on the premiere episode of “Team U,” hitting screens on June 15 at 11:30am on ABS-CBN Sports + Action and on June 16 at 1:30pm on Balls channel.

Jacob Benedicto Declares: "Fourth Pagotan should win PBB."

Jacob Benedicto, the latest "Pinoy Big Brother: All In" evictee, believes that housemate Fourth Pagotan will be the next big winner of the hit reality show.

"Sa tingin ko po si Fourth. Kasi siya 'yung pinakamasipag na housemate, super bait, matalino, deserving po siya. I think siya talaga ang magiging big winner ng PBB All In," Jacob said in an interview on the ABS-CBN morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda" on Thursday.

Fourth, dubbed as "Brad Bait," is still competing inside the Big Brother house with his twin brother, Fifth Pagotan, the "Brad Kulit ng Pasay."

Jacob, who was referred to in the show as the "Cutie Crooner of Parañaque," said he is doing well after being evicted last Saturday.

Majority of his housemates noted his overly competitive nature and his tendency to strategize behind their backs.

"Okay naman po, medyo nalulungkot kasi nami-miss ko 'yung housemates ko, 'yung bahay. Pero happy kasi kasama ko ang family and friends ko," he said.

The evictee said he misses all the people in the Big Brother house, especially celebrity guest housemate Alex.

"Naku isa lang? Si Alex po, kasi she's so funny, she brightens up sa umaga, she makes jokes all day," he said.

"Pinoy Big Brother: All In" airs weeknights on Primetime Bida, and on Saturdays and Sundays as part of ABS-CBN's Yes! Weekend line-up. Afternoon updates are also aired via "Uber" on weekdays.

Warner Bros. Pictures Releases “This Is Where I Leave You” Movie Trailer

Warner Bros. Pictures' new dramatic comedy “This is Where I Leave You,” directed by Shawn Levy, and based on the hilarious and poignant best-selling novel by Jonathan Tropper, has just unreeled its first trailer. Watch below:

The film features a starring ensemble cast including Golden Globe winner Jason Bateman (“Arrested Development”); Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Tina Fey (“30 Rock”); and two-time Oscar® winner, multiple Golden Globe honoree and 2013 Emmy Award nominee Jane Fonda (“Klute,” “Coming Home,” HBO’s “The Newsroom”).

When their father passes away, four grown siblings, bruised and banged up by their respective adult lives, are forced to return to their childhood home and live under the same roof together for a week, along with their over-sharing mother and an assortment of spouses, exes and might-have-beens. Confronting their history and the frayed states of their relationships among the people who know and love them best, they ultimately reconnect in hysterical and emotionally affecting ways amid the chaos, humor, heartache and redemption that only families can provide - driving us insane even as they remind us of our truest, and often best, selves.

Levy, who helmed the blockbuster “Night at the Museum” films, as well as “Date Night” and “Real Steel,” directs from a screenplay by Jonathan Tropper.

The film also stars Adam Driver (HBO’s “Girls,” upcoming “Star Wars: Episode VII”), Rose Byrne (“Bridesmaids,” “X-Men: First Class”), Corey Stoll (“Midnight in Paris”) and Kathryn Hahn (“We're the Millers”).

Opening across the Philippines on October 08, 2014, “This is Where I Leave You” will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment company.
