Erin Andrews Explains 50 Cent Kiss Saying "He's the Best"

Sports reporter and former "Dancing with the Stars" contender Erin Andrews was caught on cam kissing rapper 50 Cent at the Daytona 500.

Andrews was sifting through a large crowd - cameras in tow - searching for racecar driver Danica Patrick when she ran into the rapper, who leaned in to kiss Erin on the cheek as she turned her head the other way, dodging his pucker.

"It was my fault. I was rushed - none of the drivers were in their spot for the Daytona 500 pit walk. They were all in the bathroom and I was screwed." Erin told Access Hollywood of the incident at the 2013 FOX Sports Upfront After Party in New York City on Tuesday, adding that the drivers were making a last minute restroom run as they have to spend nearly "four hours" in their cars.

Erin saw the rapper through the crowd - a welcome relief, as none of her would-be interviewees were available.

"I went and said hello [to him]. We're actually business partners - I'm one of the spokespeople for SK Energy," she explained, referring to the energy drink company co-founded by the rapper. "He grabbed me, I went one way, they screamed 'Danica,' I whipped my neck, I got whiplash and it's fine.

The former "Dancing with the Stars" contender reiterated that though the exchange may have looked to outsiders like she snubbed the rapper, that was definitely not the case.

"He's the best. I mean, come on," she said.

Joey de Leon and Keempee de Leon Guest Stars in "Toda Max"

Keempee de Leon will be a charming homosexual in “Toda Max” this Saturday (March 9) while the look-alike of his father, Joey de Leon, will also join in the fun.

Keempee has played a lot of homosexual roles before but according to him, most of these only landed to him by chance. “I’m not very picky with work. Whatever is given to me, I’ll do it if I can. If these roles make the viewers happy, why not do it?” he said.

He will be joined by the look-alike of his father who won in the “Kaloka-like” segment of It’s Showtime.

In the episode entitled “Dis Gay’s in Lab With You Justin”, a smart and witty gay called Wella (Keempee) will arrive in Beverly Gil’s to temporarily drive Tol’s (Robin Padilla) tricycle so that Justin (Vhong Navarro) will have extra income to pay for his debt to Lady G (Pokwang). Because Wella is superb in handling several small businesses all at the same time, Justin will ask help from him in managing his restaurant. The two will be inseparable, causing Justin to lose time for his girlfriend Isabel (Angel Locsin).

Has Justin fallen in love with Wella already? Find out on “Toda Max” this Saturday (March 9) after “Maalaala Mo Kaya” on ABS-CBN.

Derek Ramsay Spotted with 3 Different Pretty Ladies

Derek Ramsay Spotted with 3 Different Pretty Ladies

Derek Ramsay has a lot to smile about these days. Kidlat, his first soap for TV5, is rating consistently well and continues to receive positive feedback from the audience. He even won an online poll naming him as the country’s favorite superhero. Adulations aside, perhaps the biggest perk of being the superhero ng bayan is getting the chance to be paired with a gorgeous leading lady or in Derek’s case, three alluring female counterparts. In the show’s recent press conference held at Plaza Ibarra in Quezon City, TV5 introduced the three stunning ladies who will stir some excitement into Kidlat’s life.

Right from the start, Nadine Samonte (as the beautiful and intelligent Lara) has been the object of Kidlat’s affection. Fans of the show adored the palpable chemistry between Nadine and Derek that many of them lamented Lara’s shocking death. But viewers need not worry as Lara may not be as dead as they initially thought.

Another girl vying for Kidlat’s affection is Ritz Azul, playing the strong-willed Joey who falls in love with Kidlat while still despising his alter-ego Voltaire. Like her onscreen character, Ritz doesn’t deny that she once dreamed of being paired with Derek. “Kapag tinatanong ako kung sino ang gusto kong maging leading man, si Derek (Ramsay), yun lagi ang isinasagot ko. So dream come true talaga ‘to para sa akin,” she said. Ritz shares a lot of kilig-scenes with her leading man, but she admits that working with Derek makes her really nervous especially when the subject turns to their eventual on-screen kiss. Despite gracing the cover of FHM, Ritz is actually shy and conservative. The 19-year-old TV5 Princess has never had a boyfriend and has never been kissed. If the kiss between Joey and Voltaire ever pushes through, Derek will be Ritz’s first on and off screen kiss.

Rounding up the gals that Derek will get paired with is newcomer Valerie Weigmann. The statuesque Filipina-German fashion model will take on the role of Natasha, a sexy and mysterious fashion designer who will eventually become villainess Enigma. Kidlat is Valerie’s acting debut. The 21-year-old previously appeared in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition but decided to focus on modeling instead. But when the opportunity to star alongside one of the country’s most desirable leading men, Valerie found the offer hard to resist. “Siyempre excited ako na (maka-pareha) si Derek. Pero kinakabahan din ako!” she exclaimed.

Who among these three beautiful ladies will be Kidlat’s one and only? Stay tuned to Kidlat weeknights at 6:45.

The Alden Richards Story this Saturday on "Magpakailanman"

The Alden Richards Story this Saturday on "Magpakailanman"

Kapuso young actor Alden Richards bares his life story on this Saturday's episode of Magpakailanman.

TV5 Programs Win Anvil Awards

TV5 was honored during the recently concluded 48th Annual Anvil Awards held at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. The Kapatid Network received three Anvil Awards from the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), highlighting TV5’s excellence in public relations and communications for the following campaigns: #AskMsWorldPH (under the Public Relations Tools – Social Media Campaign category), InterAksyon: The TV5 Online News Portal (under Public Relations Tools – Website Design category), and Rescue5 (under the PR Programs directed at Specific Stakeholders/Special Interest Groups category).

TV5’s Anvil Awards this year mark significant milestones for the Kapatid Network. For one, this is the second time that InterAksyon has received the Anvil Award of Excellence from the prestigious award-giving body. The #AskMsWorldPH campaign, which bagged the Anvil Award of Merit, also made waves as it was the first time the Kapatid Network crowdsourced questions for the pageant finalists. Last year marked a turning point in the pageant’s history as it was also the first time that Miss World Philippines leveraged social media to elicit audience interest and participation.

RESCUE5 was also recognized during the Awarding Ceremonies, bagging an Anvil Award of Excellence for its efforts in community management during emergencies and disasters. Since its inception in February 2011, NEWS5’s emergency response unit has received numerous recognitions here and abroad for its efforts during life-threatening incidents and dangerous situations. With its weekly program (Saturdays at 10:00PM), RESCUE5 documents the real tension and drama of saving lives with actual footage and close-to-real-life re-enactments

Present during the ceremonies were TV5 vice president for New Media Sheila Paul, NEWS5 public service head Sherryl Yao, the InterAksyon team led by editor-in-chief Roby Alampay and TV5 head of corporate public relations Peachy Vibal Guioguio.

The Anvil Awards symbolize excellence and quality in the field of public relations. Every year, entries are screened meticulously by a panel of distinguished communication experts from various industries.

Tina Fey's Witty Character Meets the Free-Wheeling Paul Rudd in ‘Admission’

Tina Fey's Witty Character Meets the Free-Wheeling Paul Rudd in ‘Admission’

In Focus Features’ new drama comedy “Admission,” multi-award-winner Tina Fey (TV’s “30 Rock,” “Date Night”) brings her smarts and humor to the role of a Princeton admissions officer, but her special mix of wit and wisdom seems to be the trademark of her illustrious career.

Based on the 2009 bestselling novel by Jean Hanff Korelitz, “Admission” revolves around straight-laced Princeton University admissions officer Portia Nathan (Fey) who lives by the book, both at work and at home. But Portia is caught off-guard when she makes a recruiting visit to an alternative high school overseen by her former college classmate, the free-wheeling John Halsey (Paul Rudd). Halsey has surmised that Jeremiah, his gifted yet very unconventional student, might well be the son that Portia secretly gave up for adoption many years ago. Soon, Portia finds herself bending the rules for Jeremiah, putting at risk the life she thought she always wanted - but in the process finding her way to a surprising and exhilarating life and romance she never dreamed of having.

Fey reflects, “When I told friends, especially those with children, about the film, there would be an instantaneous reaction and I would get peppered with questions. There’s a sense of panic in every parent who is about to go through that process. I found the story compelling, and I wanted to take on the challenge of playing this character at the center of that process.

Portia is a woman who is living in a judgmental and strict world, and she comes unraveled – but she also loosens up,” continues Fey. “When she takes a maternal interest in Jeremiah, she is trying to give something to him and help him realize his potential. Her story is so beautifully told in Jean’s book, and [screenwriter] Karen [Croner] did such a great job translating it into the screenplay.

Fey told Entertainment Weekly that in “Admission,” she had “to try to do acting—real acting. [My husband] Jeff kept telling me every day, ‘Don’t forget to do acting.’”

If Fey felt any lack of confidence playing Portia, it certainly never showed. Fey’s co-star Paul Rudd says, “Tina and I had done some sketch comedy on `Saturday Night Live,’ but working with her starring in a movie was amazing; she had such a handle on the part of Portia. Coming into this, you know Tina is going to be funny, but she deflects all of her jokes. She’s not schtick-y; that’s not her style. Instead, she plays into what’s funny in the situation and the character, making sure that the humor emerges naturally.”

“Admission” will be shown exclusively at Ayala Malls Cinemas starting March 22 – the same opening day as the US. Moviegoers can catch the film at Glorietta 4, Greenbelt 3, Trinoma, Alabang Town Center and Market! Market!
