Eva Noblezada Wins the Role of Kim in "Miss Saigon" 2014 Revival
17-year-old Filipino-American singer Eva Noblezada got the much-coveted lead role in the much-awaited 25th anniversary West End revival of “Miss Saigon”.
Eva was first discovered by casting director Tara Rubin at the 2013 Jimmy Awards in New York City. She filmed her during a performance in shows at her school in Charlotte, North Carolina and sent the footage to the Miss Saigon producer Cameron McKintosh.
Noblezada, who has never done a big professional musical in the past, will be joined other Pinoy theater veterans in the cast like Rachelle Ann Go who will play Gigi , Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer, Julia Abueva, Tanya Manalang and Ariel Reonal.
