Vic Sotto - Pauleen Luna Love Affair: How Vic Won Pauleen's Heart

Ever wonder how a 57-year-old man like Vic Sotto made a 23-year-old woman like Pauleen Luna fall for him so dearly?

The answer:

"He showered Pauleen with gifts." according to the news featured in Ricky F. Lo Funfare column in Philippine Star.

The article also states that someone closest to the two, also revealed that, "At first, Pauleen would return the gifts. But Vic must have been so badly smitten that he never gave up. As they say, walang matimtimang birhen sa matiyagang manalangin. He courted not just Pauleen but also her parents. He even talked to Pauleen’s father and assured him of his ‘pure intentions’. In the end, love triumphs."

Midas Marquez: Things You Need to Know About the New Crush ng Bayan

Midas Marquez: Things You Need to Know About the New Crush ng Bayan

Veteran showbiz columnist Ricky F. Lo, had the opportunity to sit down and had a light conversation with the new crush ng bayan - Supreme Court administrator and spokesman Jose Midas Marquez - whose gender is now in question after he was caught on camera having a funny “gay moment” after he accidentally pushed down a microphone from the rostrum during a press conference.

Jose Miday Marquez, a 45-year-old Ateneo Law school graduate was born in February and happily married to former banker Liezl Sarmiento with whom he has two children, Galo and Maia, both in high school. The middle of five children, he was named after mythical King Midas (who turns everything he touches into gold) because he said his father’s business flourished when Midas was born.

Midas stands 5’9”; weighs 175 lbs.; and wears large-size shirt, large-size briefs and size-10 shoes.

Read the full interview below as featured in Philstar and Yahoo! News:

You might be wondering if Midas, like most judges, also get death threats.

“I did but that was before pa. I didn’t take them seriously because they were done through text messages lang naman,” adding, “I don’t know why anybody would do it to me when I do nobody wrong. Wala akong atraso kanino man.”

Your daily schedule must be hectic. Describe a day in your life.

“I wake up at 8 a.m. and I’m at work the whole day, signing off at around 10 p.m., even later than that.”

Are you overpaid and overworked, or underpaid?

“All government workers are underpaid.” (Laughs) “It’s a calling.”

You are so devoted to work.

“Let’s put it this way: I never intended to work in the Supreme Court when I was in law school. I never thought that I would be spending my legal career in the Supreme Court. It just happened that while I was in law school, I had the privilege of doing my two-month summer internship in the Supreme Court. After that, I was offered a regular job there…while I was still in law school.”

How long have you been with the Supreme Court?

“More than 20 years. I started working there when I was 12.” (Laughs)

How do you divide your time between your work and your family?

“I work Monday to Saturday afternoon, and I devote weekends to my family.”

Are you faithful?

“As always.”

How do you deal with women who flirt with you?

“I’m loaded with work. Why, are there women flirting with me? I’m so busy that I hardly notice them.” (Laughs) “I hardly have free time. Parang ayaw mong maniwala.” (Laughs and laughs again)

How do you deal with aggressive women?

“Ahhhhh…If you go to my office, you will see me with files of documents waiting for me to go over them. So talagang focused ako sa work.”

Don’t tell me that you bring work at home.

”I do. I cannot finish it. Also kasi, I occupy two positions — court administrator…I supervise the judges all over the country and all court personnel. We have around 2,000 judges and 25,000 court personnel. That’s aside from my work as Supreme Court spokesperson and chief of the public information office. The two positions are supposed to be occupied by two people kaya lang tinaggap ko pareho, eh, so kailangan ko panindigan.”

How do you feel when people disagree with a court decision that you have to announce (such as these days with the issuance of the TRO against the travel restriction on former president and now congresswoman Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo)?

“It’s natural. We don’t expect everyone to agree with the Supreme Court decisions. Even the justices themselves don’t agree with one another. It’s a collegian court. We have 15 justices who come from different backgrounds, who have different philosophies, who have different personalities, who have different biases.”

With your busy schedule, do you manage to take three square meals a day?

“I don’t normally take breakfast except when there are early-morning meetings. Lunch is at irregular hours, sometimes 2 p.m. or 3 p.m., depending on the volume of work that I have to finish. Dinner is late, like 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. My wife waits for me so we eat together.”

What kind of diet do you follow?

“I eat anything.”

How much water do you take per day?

“As much as I can. But I have avoided taking soft drinks.”
What vitamins do you take?

“Vitamin C.”

How much sleep do you get per night?

“Three to four hours. Kulang na kulang.”

Favorite sleepwear?

“Boxers and tank top.”

Do you snore?

“I do…daw! Hahahaha!”

Do you talk in your sleep?

“Sometimes…daw! Hahahaha!”

Do you sleepwalk?

“Thank God, I don’t!”

Last thing that you do before you go to sleep?

“Read.”

First thing that you do when you wake up?

“Take a shower.”

How often do you work out?

“As often as I can on weekends when I go to the gym.”

What part of your body needs improvement?

“My tummy.”

What part of your body is most vulnerable?

“My heart.”

What part of your body is your favorite?

“My heart and my mind.”

What part of a woman’s body do you first look at?

“May I invoke my right against self-incrimination?”

Do you look at other women?

“Again, may I invoke my right against self-incrimination?”

Have you gotten any indecent proposal?

“None that I notice. Kasi nga busy sa work, eh. Siguro alam nila na boring ako. Hahahaha!”

How’s your love life (with your wife, of course!)?

“Okay naman.”

And your sex life?

“Satisfactory.”

How do you cope with stress?

“I sleep. Sometimes I listen to music…while in the car…mostly R&B and hip-hop.”

You look so cool on national television despite the great stress in your job…except when you accidentally pushed a microphone during a recent conference. It’s a hit in the Internet. How did your wife feel about it?

“Wala. Natawa lang.”

Your favorite hideaway?

“Sa bahay lang because I’m hardly ever at home. Being at home the whole day is luxury for me.”

How do you make up for lost time with your family?

“Weekends are sacred for the family. We go on trips every summer, mga two to three weeks.”

Do you drink?

“No, I don’t.”

Do you smoke?

“No, I don’t.”

How long do you intend to stay in the Supreme Court?

“Until I’m 65…unless I resign.”

Judy Ann Santos Reacts on Piolo Pascual - KC Concepcion Breakup

Judy Ann Santos Reacts on Piolo Pascual - KC Concepcion Breakup

Being known to be really close to the Pangilinan's without halong showbiz especially the Megastar Sharon Cuneta whom she fondly calls "Ate" and the most successful and well-admired leading lady to Piolo Pascual in the past (she even admitted almost falling inlove with him in her interview with Boy Abunda), Judy Ann Santos, surely, can't get rid of questions relating to the recent break-up of mega-daughter KC Concepcion and her former leading man.

During the bloggers conference held at the Napa Restaurant in Quezon City last Wednesday night, December 7, for her MMFF 2011 movie "My Househusband, Ikaw Na!" opposite her real-life husband Ryan Agoncillo, Juday was asked to give her statement regarding the said controversial break-up in which she immediately replied with:

Ganun talaga eh. You know life...it hurts. Kung hindi ka nasaktan, hindi ka nagmahal. And I'm sure pareho silang nasaktan dahil pareho silang nagmahal.

"I just wish them well na makapag-move on ng maayos and eventually become friends."

"Sabi nga nila wala namang sugat and hindi naghilom, bigyan lang ng tamang panahon."

"Siguro mas okay silang maging magkaibigan. Two beautiful people in a relationship will always be beautiful."

"Whenever na naghihiwalay ang dalawang tao masakit sa lahat. So let us just spare them from kung anuman."

"Basta I just wish both of them well and sana malagpasan nila ito."

“My Househusband: Ikaw Na!” Bloggers Conference Night, a Fun, Huge Success

Talking about creating an entertaining and yet of good morale value family-oriented film, who do you think best fit the job? No one but Direk Jose Javier Reyes.

And to provide best justice to the role of husband and wife whose marriage life revolves around an extra-exciting fun-filled roller coaster ride, I am pretty sure you would agree with me 100% when I say it would be real-life married couple Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo.

After their hit tandem in the MMFF blockbuster movies Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo in 2006 and Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo in 2007, Direk Joey, Juday and Ryan returns in another comedy movie about a non-traditional set-up of a married couple where the husband who is supposedly providing for his family is the one who takes care of the house and kids while the wife looks after putting food on the table. Along the way, situations arise that test the arrangement and their relationship.

In the third leg of bloggers conference for the movie “My Househusband, Ikaw Na” held on December 7 at Napa Restaurant in Quezon City, Juday and Ryan talks about this Octo Arts produced film which is also happen to be one of the entries in this year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) which will start on December 25, Christmas day.

My Househusband: Ikaw Na! Storyline:

The movie is about a man “who is forced by circumstances to take care of his family and do house chores” while his wife “has to be the one to take on a job.”

Joining Juday and Ryan is blockbuster comedienne Eugene Domingo who plays Aida, the mistress of a man who lives next door and eventually ends up as Rod's BFF.

Written by Lady Gaga and Fernando Garibay, Gaga described “Marry the Night” music video as the longest she has done and will be “the beginning of the story I never told you.”

Lady Gaga "Marry The Night" Music Video:

I'm gonna marry the night
I won't give up on my life
I'm a warrior queen
Live passionately tonight

I'm gonna marry the dark
Gonna make love to the stark
I'm a soldier to my own emptiness
I am a winner

I'm gonna marry the night
I'm gonna marry the night
I'm gonna marry the night

I'm gonna marry the night
I'm not gonna cry anymore
I'm gonna marry the night
Leave nothing on these streets to explore

M-m-m-Marry m-m-m-marry m-m-m-marry the night
Oh m-m-marry m-m-m-marry m-m-m-marry the night

I'm gonna lace up my boots
Throw on some leather and cruise
Down the streets that I love
In my fishnet gloves
I'm a sinner

Then I'll go down to the bar
But I won't cry anymore
I'll hold my whiskey up high
Kiss the bartender twice
I'm a loser

I'm gonna marry the night
I'm gonna marry the night

I'm gonna marry the night
I'm not gonna cry anymore
I'm gonna marry the night
Leave nothing on these streets to explore

M-m-m-marry m-m-m-marry m-m-m-marry the night
Oh m-m-marry m-m-m-marry m-m-m-marry the night

Nothing's too cool
To take me from you
New York is not just a tan that you'll never lose
Love is the new denim or black
Skeleton guns are wedding bells in the attic
Get Ginger ready climb to El Camino front
Won't poke holes in the seats with my heels cause that's
Where we make love

Come on and run
Turn the car on and run

I'm gonna marry the night
I'm gonna burn a hole in the road
I'm gonna marry the night
Leave nothin' on these streets to explode

M-m-m-marry m-m-m-marry m-m-m-marry the night
Oh m-m-marry m-m-m-marry m-m-m-marry the night
Oh m-m-marry m-m-m-marry m-m-m-marry the night

I'm gonna marry
Marry
I'm gonna marry
Marry
C'mon c'mon the night

Pia Guanio Interview with Rhian Ramos (Video and Transcript)

Pia Guanio Interview with Rhian Ramos (Video and Transcript)

Pia Guanio had a one-on-one sit-down interview with one showbiz personality everyone is waiting to speak - Rhian Ramos, on Wednesday, December 7, in GMA-7 primetime news program 24 Oras.

In that interview, Rhian narrated how her friendship with her ex-boyfriend Mo Twister, who revealed that she had an abortion in Singapore last year, started 5 years ago when she was only 16 years old.

Ramos said that their friendship has developed into a romantic relationship because Mo was “nice, smart, and funny” and that the guy made her feel that she’s the most important in his life.

He would often say on his radio show that I’m his crush, stuff like that. So, I was really flattered and I liked him,” she said.

Despite the fact that Rhian’s friends and relatives are not in favor of Mo to become her boyfriend because of their age gap and that the guy has a lovechild, Rhian pursued the relationship which she now regrets.

Ramos continued: “Later on, when we became boyfriend-girlfriend, many things changed…and I came to know him in a completely different way.”

The Kapuso star also said that she tried to break-up with Mo because their relationship has turned “unhealthy” but whenever she makes an attempt, she receives a threat from Mo.

Every time that I would try to break up, he would get really mad, or he’ll threaten me.

Uhm… I think the most painful time was when he outright told me that ‘I promise to take everything you love away from you.’

Yun ba yung love? Tatakutin ka ng tao? Ite-threaten ka? Sisirain ka?

Para ano? Para sa kanya ka lang?,” she said.

Pia later asked Ramos about her reaction after seeing the controversial “RepairedMovie” video diary of his ex.

Ramos replied, “I was very shocked and…very hurt. I could not believe what I was seeing.

I could not believe that he would say those things about me, and make a video saying things like that about me.”

And because of the pain caused by Mo’s video, Ramos decided to leave showbiz temporarily.

For now I just ask if I could rest for a little bit. I just needed some time…away…to spend with my family.”

My network GMA has been good to me. They always stood by me,” she said.

Gloria Macapagal Arroyo Transfer to VMMC: I prefer taxi than chopper.

Gloria Macapagal Arroyo Transfer to VMMC: "I prefer taxi than chopper."

As we all know now, the transfer of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC) in Quezon City has been delayed after the the former President's camp opted not to use a chopper but insists on traveling by land instead despite the Philippine National Police's decision to transfer Arroyo using a helicopter for security reasons.

Elena Bautista-Horn, Arroyo's spokeswoman, said the former president is afraid of riding a helicopter due to bad weather. She said the former president was involved in 2 helicopter crashes in the past.

"Kahit mag taxi na lang kami kung yun ang problema. Hindi na kailangan mag-chopper," she told reporters.

She also noted that the Arroyo camp had talked to the PNP about the transfer and there was no mention of Arroyo being airlifted.

"We don't need the fanfare. It's only about 20 kilometers away. We don't have to wait for the anti-Gloria rallyists. That is why we wanted to travel at 6 a.m. because we didn't want any people on the streets," she said.

CGMA is currently under hospital arrest due to pending electoral sabotage charges filed against her by the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Judge Jesus Mupas of Pasay RTC branch 11 earlier ordered Arroyo's transfer from St. Luke's Medical Center in Taguig to VMMC, saying the government must have custody of the former president.

The government has prepared the presidential suite at the VMMC for CGMA It is the same room used by former President Joseph "Erap" Estrada after he was arrested on plunder charges in 2001.

Meanwhile, Erap made light of CGMA's refusal to be airlifted from St. Luke's in Taguig to the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMCC) in Quezon City, saying she might be afraid to use the second-hand helicopters sold by her husband to the Philippine National Police (PNP) as brand new.

"Siguro baka natatakot siya sa chopper dahil baka yung secondhand na chopper na pinagbili sa PNP. Itanong mo kay Secretary Robredo, baka yung secondhand chopper," Estrada told ANC's Dateline Philippines on Friday.

Meet Paula Patton, the New Girl of ‘Mission Impossible’

Meet Paula Patton, the New Girl of ‘Mission Impossible’

Paula Patton (Jane Carter) emerged as an unforgettable talent with her leading roles in the Tony Scott film “Déjà Vu” and the original musical “Idlewild.”

Now she’s Tom Cruise’s co-star in the new Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. As director describes her, Agent Jane Carter “is a badass.” Though she has yet had a lot of experience as a field agent, she is driven by something besides her desire to complete the mission: revenge. “She’s enormously talented, very charismatic and really took the physicality the role required head-on,” Cruise notes. Jane, Patton says, “is as fierce as the boys, if not fiercer – she’s someone to contend with.”

How aware were you growing up of the whole MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE legacy?

I didn’t catch the TV show, but my husband and I were huge fans of the films. This is a dream come true for me to be in. I have to pinch myself everyday that I got this.
What do you think is the appeal of this franchise? Why does it keep coming back?

Tom is really a smart producer. He always likes to find different directors who brings their own unique style. Brian De Palma did the first and then John Woo did the second and finally J.J. Abrams did the last one. Now, we have Brad Bird (winner of two Academy Awards® for Best Animated Feature Films THE INCREDIBLES and RATATOUILLE) has his own unique vision for the story. This is a different Mission than you have ever seen before. Tom is the heart of the franchise, but for this there is a really strong team around him and the IMF is completely shut down. We have no resources, no help, and these are things that are new in this film. – It’s an incredible ride from start to finish.

What is it like to work on a Tom Cruise movie as opposed to working with Denzel Washington or Will Smith?

All of them are great to work with. Tom is incredible. Not only is he a great actor, but also he is a great human being. He is kind to everyone on set, weather it be a PA or a grip. He just has this passion for making movies. I still have that but I am so new to the process. I am so excited about going to set. He acts as if it is his first movie and that enthusiasm bleeds down to everyone else. Everyone else is then jacked up and excited to be on the set as well. He is the hardest worker that I have ever met and so it is no coincidence that he is one of the biggest stars in the world.

Was there anything that surprised you about him? He can be intense when he works?

To be great, you have to have intense focus and dedication. There is time to laugh and have fun but then there is time to stay focused. Tom understands this balance test. You have to be serious about what you are doing. There is a lot riding on that and so you have to be committed.

You get to be a spy in the film. What qualities do you have that would lend themselves to be a good spy?

I love the idea of being a spy because I love becoming other people and I love wearing costumes BUT I don’t think I would BE THAT GOOD AT BEING A SPY I would probably ruin it because I am such a romantic and I love love (laugh). I am not cold hearted enough to be a spy.

Tom gets to climb outside a 130-story building. Are there moments like that where you could step up and do that?

I would like to do something like that. I was glad that in this MISSION IMPOSSIBLE they decided to make this female character strong and fierce. She is able to hang with the boys. I have some great fights and some cool shoot outs. I really get to be in the middle of the action.

I want to go back to those scenes in Dubai on that building. Do you have a fear of heights?

When I was doing documentaries, I don’t like looking at medical procedures where they have to open people up; yet I could film them because this was a job. I would film gastro-bypass surgeries and I filmed births. I filmed so many things that I hope I never have to see again. The same could be said about heights. They had this huge open window at the top of the Burj. When that window was cut out and you are in the tallest building in the world, you do get that foot tingling feeling but when your in the moment and in character you just do it.

Did you empathize with the plight of the women there?

Over there it is not a burqa; it is an abaya. It is very silky and beautiful. These women are important and smart and they are of value to their family. Dubai is one of the most liberal places you will find in the Middle East. It is not one for us to judge someone else’s culture. We all grow up differently.
What cultural things did you get to experience there?

I got to ride a camel (laugh). The food was amazing. I love Middle Eastern food. I didn’t have a lot of time off but when I did, we went to sand dunes and took camel rides. Walking through the streets is its own cultural experience. It is like nothing you see in the West.

How did you see your character?

I play Jane Carter. She is a character who has experienced a failure and a loss and she is working to right the wrongs that have been done.

My last question is what do you feel has been your most impossible mission you have accomplished in your life?

It would have to be being a mom. It is one of the most challenging things and yet the most empowering and gratifying.

Alvin and Chipettes Step Into the Wild

Alvin and Chipettes Step Into the Wild

The Munks are about to unleash their third grandest and most spectacular adventure in “Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked” where the vacationing Chipmunks and Chipettes are turning a luxury cruise liner into their personal playground, until they become ‘chipwrecked’ on a remote island.

As the ‘Munks and Chipettes scheme to find their way home, they accidentally discover their new turf is not as deserted as it seems.

The new home leads to character-changing adventures, on a scale new to the boys and to the “Alvin and the Chipmunks” films. As the story opens, The Chipmunks, Chipettes, and their eternally beleaguered guardian, Dave Seville, are en route, on a luxury cruise liner, to the International Music Awards. Alvin, of course, cannot resist wreaking havoc on this ultimate playground. He attempts to steer the vessel, takes over the hot tubs, and dons a tuxedo – secret agent style – to work the baccarat and blackjack tables.

Reprising his role as Dave Seville is Jason Lee, “As always, the operative words for Alvin are ‘chaos’ and ‘action.’ It’s his first time out of the city, and he wants to make the most of it. Dave isn’t happy about Alvin’s shipboard antics – and lets him know it. It’s not easy to be sympathetic, likable and charismatic when you’re screaming ‘ALVIIIIIN!’ so loudly you’re breaking windows around you!” Lee says of their latest adventure.

Being stranded on the island takes the Chipmunks full circle. When we met them in the first movie, they were wild – living in the forest, foraging for nuts – and that all came very naturally for them. Then, they became domesticated, famous, pampered, and civilized. Now, finding themselves on a deserted island after all that domestication, they cannot figure out how to find a nut, or forage for anything but room service,” shares producer Ross Bagdasarian on the chipmunks temporary new home.

Key to the movie’s theme is about the Chipmunks growing up, and how hard it is for a parent – in this case, Dave – to let the chipmunks be independent. Director Mike Mitchell adds, “But kids (and chipmunks) are going to grow up and they’re going to be independent. It’s inevitable, of course. I think that idea is going to resonate with kids and parents. Everyone can relate to the story, even though it’s a singing/dancing/adventure-seeking Chipmunk movie. And, who hasn’t gone on family vacations? They’re wonderful nightmares!

From 20th Century Fox – “Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked” opens January 8 nationwide in Metro Manila, Cebu, Bohol, Davao, Pampanga, Angeles, Baguio, Bulacan, Iloilo, Cagayan De Oro, Bacolod, GenSan, Laguna, Pangasinan, Naga, Laoag, Tacloban, Dumaguete and Batangas.

First-Look: ‘The Lucky One’ Poster, Featurette

Warner Bros. has just unveiled the one-sheet art of the big-screen adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ bestseller “The Lucky One” starring Zac Efron (“17 Again,” “Charlie St. Cloud”) and Taylor Schilling (upcoming “Atlas Shrugged: Part 1”).

The romantic drama is helmed by Academy Award®-nominated writer/director Scott Hicks (“Shine,” “No Reservations”).

In the film, U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive - a photograph he found of a woman he doesn’t even know. Learning her name is Beth (Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door, and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.

Hicks directs from a screenplay by Will Fetters (“Remember Me”), adapted from the Nicholas Sparks novel The Lucky One. The producers are Denise Di Novi, who previously produced Nicolas Sparks novel-to-film adaptations of “A Walk To Remember,” “Nights In Rodanthe” and “Message in a Bottle,” and Kevin McCormick (upcoming “Arthur”). Ravi D. Mehta, Alison Greenspan and Bruce Berman serve as executive producers, and Kerry Heysen is co-producer.

Opening across the Philippines on May 2012, “The Lucky One” will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

The studio also made available a video featurette on Nicholas Sparks discussing “The Lucky One” which can be viewed here:

Erin Andrews Sues Marriott Hotel for $10-M Over Peephole Video

Erin Andrews, the ESPN reporter and 2010 Dancing with the Stars 3rd placer has filed a $10 million lawsuit stemming from a 2008 incident in which she was videotaped by a man in her nude through the peephole of her Nashville hotel room.

In the suit, which was originally filed last year, and just refiled to ensure the statute of limitations did not run out, Andrews asks for $6 million from the West End Marriott (plus costs and interests) and another $4 million from Michael Barrett, who plead guilty to stalking her. In 2010, he was sentenced to two and a half years in federal prison.

The suit alleges that the hotel was guilty of negligence for allowing Barrett – who had previously videotaped Andrews in other cities, according to prosecutors – to learn that she was staying at the hotel and book a neighboring room.

The Marriott has not commented on the lawsuit.

Andrews said in her suit that the surveillance and the posting of nude images still causes her "great emotional distress and embarrassment."

Pauleen Luna and Vic Sotto Relationship Receives Favorable Responses from Eat Bulaga Fans

After the May-December love affair between Eat Bulaga! hosts Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna surfaced here in Showbiznest (read related article HERE), netizens, showbiz watchers and even those religiously follows their daily noontime show, expresses their responses - some of them negative (even goes to the boundary of harsh to unimaginable reactions) but, surprisingly, most still believe love truly exist between two individuals no matter how far their status and age gap would be.

Vic Sotto is a DOM says: "Grandfather Vic Sotto having Pauleen Luna as his girl is unthinkable. Pauleen is almost his grand daughter by age. Just imagine the old man kissing and petting the youngster. Disgusting. Bossing always gets the female co-hosts of his show Eat Bulaga, he's worse than Willie Revillame. Such an abuse of fame and stature. These Bossing Girls imply easy-to-get women, similar to how foreigners easily get Filipnas. Such a sad truth."

One fan says: "Either fame or money. Look at Vic's face. He looks gurang na! If you're young and pretty, will you fall for this old man when there are lots of good looking young guys running after you? Oh come on Pauline!"

One concern Eat Bulaga fan states: "It is just a bit awkward that Pia is still with the show and yet the new girl of Bossing is just there too..Pia has moved on but still it seems like they do not have delikadeza..But i don't have anything against Bossing, I heart him! hehe but for me Pauleen really likes older men."

Meanwhile, Chaser, a Vic Sotto fan says: "astig... the best ka parin bossing... hehehe."

One Bossing Vic fan posted: "vic sotto ang al pacino ng pinas! kaya kahit sinong babae mahuhumaling."

Another believer of love expresses: "i do believe that when it comes to physical outlooks, you can distinguish their age gap, you should also consider their feelings"

One more pro Vic-Pauleen says: "Well we cannot choose who to fall inlove with... As for Pauline, she might just fell for Bossing's magical spell and as for Bossing, who knows this could be his last relationship... Oh, people dont be too JUDGEMENTAL!!! we dont really know what's the reason behind their relationship... Anyway, its their life and just deal with it!"

Angel Locsin Faces New Challenge in Her Career

Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin now faces a new, big challenge in her showbiz career....to make us laugh - to death - as she officially joins“TODA MAX”.

From being a guest star on the first episode, Angel Locsin is now a mainstay in ABS-CBN’s hit sitcom “Toda Max.

With her effective portrayal as Isabel Padausdos, Justin’s (Vhong Navarro) girlfriend, in the first few episodes of Kapamilya Comedy flagship sitcom “TODA Max,” Angel Locsin has proven that her gift in acting is not only limited to primetime teleseryes and romantic movies. She can also shine in comedy

At first, Angel was just a guest star in the sitcom. But after showing her innate hilarity, there was no more reason for her to leave the Beverly Gil’s strip. “TODA Max” proudly launches Angel Locsin as its newest member, whose humor is sure to add loads of laughter and bring happiness to every Filipino family.

It can be recalled that recently, Angel made a mark when she did a serious wolf role in ABS-CBN’s hit primetime series “Imortal” with John Lloyd Cruz. Now in “TODA Max,” she’s ready to bring out the comedienne in her. Angel will join other big stars such as action superstar Robin Padilla, Prince of Comedy Vhong Navarro and Pokwang.

In an interview, the actress said that besides the acting awards she wants to bag in the future, she also dreamt of starring in family-oriented sitcoms like “TODA Max.”

“I grew up watching sitcoms, especially those filled with moral values. I also believe that a family’s relationship can be strengthened by watching television together,” said Angel.

Meanwhile, “TODA Max” was hailed as the country’s most watched comedy program for the month of November. According to Kantar Media, the sitcom garnered 23% TV rating, alongside with other top-rating shows of the Kapamilya network.

With this triumph, the spirit of the undisputed Kapamilya Comedy has definitely been revived. Catch “TODA Max” Saturdays, after “Maalaala Mo Kaya” on ABS-CBN.
