Ashton Kutcher Replaces Charlie Sheen on ‘ Two and a Half Men’

Posted by JED on , under | comments (0)

Ashton Kutcher officially joins the cast of the CBS hit series "Two And Half Men" after Charlie Sheen was sacked from the hit comedy show.

But contrary to rumors that he will "Charlie Harper" the role previously played by Sheen, Kutcher insisted he is not trying to replace Sheen.

The CBS network also confirmed that Kutcher won’t take over the role of Charlie Harper. Instead, Ashton will play a new person who moves into the Malibu bachelor pad.

On March 7, 2011, CBS and Warner Bros. fired Sheen from Two and a Half Men. The official statement read: "After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on Two and a Half Men effective immediately."

However, Charlie Sheen is said to be not happy about producers finding a new leading man for his show.

"Ashton Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer… Oh wait, so am I," Sheen said, adding "Enjoy the show America. Enjoy seeing a 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB. Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there."

Rhian Ramos Meets with Legal Counsel Atty. Lorna Kapunan To Settle Issue with Mo Twister

Posted by JED on , under | comments (7)

Rhian Ramos already met with Atty. Lorna Kapunan yesterday, May 13, and discussed possible legal actions to take against Mo Twister in defense of the DJ-host's revelations about their intimate moments when they were still together.

According to Atty. Kapunan, Rhian seemed so really affected about Mo's revelations on twitter as mentioned by her partner who initially met with Rhian.

"When my partners saw her and talked to her, she seemed very distraught because of what Mo had done to her, certainly. She was concerned about how it will affect her contracts that had morality clauses.

"But when she came back yesterday [May 12] and met my partner again, she seemed better. And I think what she has found out for herself is there is life outside the relationship," Atty. Kapunan said.

Atty. Kapunan added that "I understand from my partner, that Rhian has gotten busy. Enrolled in fashion school, yoga classes, and all that. So, it's I think her way of coping with the situation while the lawyers are trying to understand what are the legal options should there be no possibility of a settlement between the two."

However, the lady lawyer who is also a friend to DJ Mo through Hayden Kho Jr. who is also her client, hopes to settle this issue out of court.

"Hopefully, it will be settled," she said.

"Two parties here had shared a past together and we are hopeful that this matter will be settled and will not be again enlarged out of proportions.

"Sana on the part of both sides, mag-cool down muna sila. Kasi ganyan ang mga magkasintahan o magka-live-in, di ba? It's as if the whole world or the whole argument becomes their world."

However, should DJ Mo continuously express on twitter their intimate moments that could ruin Rhian's reputation and career, they have no choice but to bring this case to court.

"Then we will advise our client accordingly. Kasi right now, ang feeling namin is, this is all done in haze or without thinking.

"But we are looking at talking to Mo seriously. I have guested in his show twice, and I think he's a very rational person.

"And I think if we talk to him, emphasize to him the importance of not damaging other people's reputations, he will also appreciate.

"So we're still hopeful that, in the end, this will be settled out of the court because the parties naman are intelligent and rational people." she further related.

Princess Diana Film "Unlawful Killing" Slams UK Royals as 'Gangsters'

Posted by JED on , under | comments (0)

Director Keith Allen poses during a photo call for Unlawful Killing,
at the 64th international film festival, in Cannes,
Southern France, Friday, May 13, 2011.

According to a provocative new documentary at the Cannes Film Festival, Britain's royals are racist "gangsters in tiaras" and Prince Philip is a womanizing psychopath.

The movie "Unlawful Killing" revives claims that Princess Diana - adored by millions as the "people's princess" but viewed in royal circles as an embarrassing loose cannon - was murdered by the British establishment. The film was screened Friday for the first time at the festival.

It bills itself as "the antidote to 'The King's Speech'" and depicts the royal family as feudal relics presiding over a network of official cronies at taxpayers' expense. Director Keith Allen says, however, it's "not an attack on the monarchy."

"I don't think it's anti-monarchy," he said. "I think it may be questioning capitalism."

The film takes its title from the verdict of an official British inquest into Diana's 1997 death in a Paris car crash. The jury ruled the princess was unlawfully killed, but deflated claims of a conspiracy, blaming "grossly negligent driving" by her drunk and speeding driver and pursuing vehicles.

But the movie by actor Allen - father of singer Lily Allen - revisits conspiracy theories put forward by Mohamed Al Fayed, whose son Dodi was Diana's boyfriend at the time and died in the same crash.

Fayed, the billionaire former owner of London's Harrods department store, funded the 2.5 million pound ($4 million) documentary. He has long maintained that his son and Diana were killed by the British secret service at the behest of an establishment horrified by her romance with a Muslim man.

The film begins with Diana's prediction in a 1995 letter to a friend that "my husband is planning an 'accident' in my car" and attempts to expose holes in the coroner's inquest.

It poses more questions than it answers. Who was in the white Fiat that witnesses saw in the Alma Tunnel just before the crash? Was driver Henri Paul really drunk or did someone tamper with his blood samples? Why did a French ambulance take so long to arrive?

"I didn't want to make a sensationalist film," Allen said, calling the documentary a "forensic account" of a legal process that "doesn't add up."

The film certainly doesn't pull punches. Critics would say it lashes out in all directions, scattering accusations of royal racism, judicial complicity and media laziness.

It includes an array of high-profile talking heads: talk show host Piers Morgan, actor Tony Curtis, celebrity biographer Kitty Kelley and psychologist Oliver James, who brands the husband of Queen Elizabeth II a psychopath.

Al Fayed spokesman Conor Nolan said the businessman had seen the film and was "absolutely delighted" with it.

Others remain decidedly unconvinced. Martin Gregory, author of "Diana, the Last Days," said the movie was "simply regurgitation of everything Mohamed Al Fayed has been saying since the year 2000."

"Nothing in the film is new," he said, taking Allen to task at the film's Cannes press conference.

The film was screened Friday for journalists and buyers. It's unlikely to find one in Britain, where it cannot be shown in its current form for legal reasons. Allen said he had declined to make any of the 87 cuts recommended by the film's lawyers before it can be shown there.

The documentary already has been criticized for including a picture of Diana after the crash that has never been shown before in Britain.

So does Allen agree with Al Fayed that Diana was murdered?

Not exactly. He said he thought her death was the result of an attempt to scare and discredit her that "went massively wrong."

"I do believe Diana was in a position to rock a lot of boats," he said. "You could argue it's a warning and any statements she made after the crash would be put down to 'She's had a nasty crack on the head.'"

"What I'm saying is, don't necessarily believe the hype," he added.

Sharon Cuneta Tackles Obesity in “Bigating Pinoy: The Biggest Loser Primer”

Posted by JED on , under | comments (0)

Sharon Cuneta finally speaks up on her own fight against obesity this Sunday, May 15, in the primer for her upcoming reality show “The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition” on ABS-CBN.

In a rare TV interview, the Megastar will share the physical and emotional pains of people who are regarded by society as fat, obese, and heavy.

Unfortunately, society judges you according to your physical appearance. It’s not really according to your abilities and your talents. Minsan kahit it’s very unfair, it’s a reality,” she explained.

But she is not the only one opening up on Sunday’s TV special, entitled “Bigating Pinoy: The Biggest Loser Primer.” To prove that obesity is a serious problem in the country that should be addressed, the primer will also show case studies featuring six “heavy” Pinoys.

The list includes seven year old child star Karl Camo of “Goin’ Bulilit.” While people find him cuddly and cute, he is also in a crucial state of child obesity. Danica, 14, has to deal with greater pressure growing up because of her weight. Twenty-two year old Alvin, on the other hand, has been rejected over and over during job applications.

There is also Lorie, 33, who can’t bear a child because of excessive fat in her body. Forty year old Rowena, meanwhile, is a mom but can’t attend her children’s graduation in fear that they will be teased by their classmates because of her.

Finally, get to meet Reinnier, who at 25 already has a memorial plan due to the health risks of his obesity.

If you ask Sharon, she believes that there is still hope for all of them to improve their lives. That is if they begin taking care of their health like her. She said, “The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition” can be a source of inspiration to people like them, and even those who are perfectly fit and healthy.

Kayang-kaya ‘yan. ‘Pag nakita niyo yung journey ng mga contestant to lose weight, I think representation din yan ng kaniya-kaniyang problemang pinagdadaanan natin, kahit hindi siya obesity,” Sharon stressed.

Find out about Filipinos’ fight against obesity and even get a sneak peek of the Biggest Loser Camp and the program’s 12 contestants in “Bigating Pinoy: The Biggest Loser Primer” this Sunday (May 15), after “Pilipinas Got Talent” on ABS-CBN.

Get updates on the arrival of “The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition,” which will be hosted by Sharon Cuneta and Derek Ramsay, on its official accounts on Facebook (www.facebook.com/abscbn.biggestloserpinoyedition) and Twitter (@BLPinoyEdition).

Bradley Cooper Returns as Leader of The Pack in “The Hangover Part II”

Posted by JED on , under | comments (0)

Bradley Cooper (“Limitless,” “The A-Team”) reunites with director Todd Phillips and the cast of 2009’s Golden Globe-winning smash hit “The Hangover” in Warner Bros.’ eagerly awaited sequel, “The Hangover Part II.”

In the film, Phil (Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu’s wedding. With the memory of Doug’s nearly disastrous bachelor party in Las Vegas still fresh - or at least well-documented - Stu is taking no chances. He has opted for a safe, subdued, pre-wedding trip brunch, with pancakes, coffee…and no alcohol. However, things don’t always go as planned.

Two nights before the big day, at a fabulous resort in Thailand, Stu relents. One beer each. In sealed bottles. What could go wrong?

We knew we had to adhere to certain tenets of the first movie,” says Cooper, reprising the role of Phil, the de facto leader of the group. “We wanted aspects we loved from the first film to be in this one, but in a fresh, totally new context. Todd’s idea to set it in Bangkok upped the ante completely. We had a huge car chase, motorcycles, riots, shootings… There’s a lot of action in this movie.

For the director, Cooper’s Phil is “the most grounded of the guys, which isn’t saying much,” Todd Phillips laughs. “He’s the most level-headed, which enables the other guys to go off the rails.

Phil is, to say the least, disappointed in Stu’s “bachelor brunch” idea. “Phil is just a big talker,” allows Cooper. “He actually has quite a nice life at home, but he’s this alpha male who probably got married right out of high school and still wants to live those rare moments of cutting loose with his male friends.”

In Thailand, Phil hasn’t given up on some form of a bachelor party and proposes they have one nightcap before Stu ties the knot. Cooper expounds, “Phil wants to mark the occasion in some way and talks Stu into having at least one drink on the beach.”

And that is the last memory they have until they wake up the next morning.

The dynamic between Phil and the quirky Alan, played by Zach Galifianakis, that evolved in the first film is further explored in this one. “I think that’s my favorite part about this movie, because their relationship becomes really rich,” says Cooper. “In the first one, Zach and I improvised a lot of that, not always knowing if it would even play. But in this one, it’s built in already and we can take it even further. It’s like making a movie with your brothers. No one has to think too hard about the process; you just go with it. Our only real objective is that people will laugh their asses off.

Opening across the Philippines on June 8, “The Hangover Part II” is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Get Ready To Answer The 2 Million-Peso Question in The New Season of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” on TV5

Posted by JED on , under | comments (0)

The millionaire fever is back. Beginning on May 15, Sunday, the world’s most popular game show is taking the Philippines by storm once more. Hosted by Bossing of Game Shows, Mr. Vic Sotto, “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” kicks off its sixth season loaded with exciting additional lifelines, updated set technology and the chance for a lucky player to become 2 million pesos richer.

As we enter our new season, we promise the viewers that we double the fun, excitement and tension in the sixth season of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” That’s our final answer,” said Vic Sotto. To date, the game show has already given away more than P13 million in total prizes in its five-season run.

For the initial episodes of the all-new season of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” smart kids could be a few questions away to become young millionaires as the tension-filled game show features honor students recommended by their schools to get this once-in-a-lifetime chance to win P2 million. On top of the jackpot that will be split to the kid player and his/her respective school, win or lose, “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” will award all the kid players college scholarships.

The overnight-millionaire dream is alive once again as Filipinos take their chance to defy the pressure from the hot seat for P2 million jackpot. To help the player along the way, the hot seat contestant can use lifelines available. Aside from pre-existing 50-50 and Phone-A-Friend lifelines, the new season of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” introduces added lifelines that will make the game even more exciting: People Speak and Switch. Through People Speak, the studio audience who answers correctly will have the chance to win up to P20,000. The Switch lifeline, meanwhile, entitles the contestant to switch out the original question for another question of the same value.

The game show that pioneered the craze over game shows on Philippine TV returned in May 2009 via its new home TV5. For the last decade since its debut in the UK in 1998, “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” has dominated the ratings game around the globe with international versions spawning in over a hundred countries, including its top-rating Philippine version.

While the elimination of players in the past was through Fastest Finger First round done in the studio, hot seat hopefuls this time will be selected through mall auditions. To register in the mall editions, text MILLION (space) Name/Age/Gender/Address to 2256 (Example: MILLION Mark Sy/21/M/12 Leo St., Quezon City). Each text costs P2.50 for Smart and Globe subscribers, and P2.00 for Sun Cellular subscribers.

TV5’s version of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” has recorded a first in local franchise history after Ms. Sharon Cuneta won the P2 million-peso jackpot for the benefit of the children at Hospicio de San Jose last January 9, 2010. Some celebrities including Ms. Coney Reyes, Arnel Ignacio, Efren Peñaflorida, Ms. Ruffa Gutierrez, Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero and Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez have also played and won for their chosen charities.

Don’t miss the new season of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” starting on May 15, Sunday, 7:30pm after Magic Bagsik on TV5.

Krissel Valdez and Monica Sacay Voices of Hero TV's Hottest Anime, ‘Lovely Idols’

Posted by JED on , under | comments (0)

Star Power girls Krissel Valdez and Monica Sacay share their experiences as they give life to Hero TV’s most talked about anime, Lovely Idol.

In a dubbing session recently, Krissel and Monica said they’re grateful for being chosen as celebrity dubbers for Lovely Idol. “We’re very very lucky po and blessed. Even if hindi kami yung naging grand champion, ang dami pa rin pong opportunities na binigay po sa’min. Eto po kasing anime na dina-dub namin is for celebrities, kaya sobrang happy na po ako. Celebrity na pala kami, which is hindi ko po na-imagine in my whole life,” ani ng Soulful Diva na si Krissel.

Krissel and Monica revealed that they can very much relate with the story of Lovely Idol, since both of them were grand contenders of the Star Power singing competition.

Krissel also admitted that she has almost the same traits with Mai, the girl with a strong personality in Lovely Idol. “Ako po si Mai doon. Ako po yung small but terrible, madaldal, matapang at palaban. Parang ako din po yun. Nakakarelate ako dun kahit maliit po ako, pero alam mo yung kahit anong mangyari, kahit anong pagdaanan na pagsubok, kailangan lumaban lang talaga,” Krissel shared.

Monica and Krissel, as well as Akiko feel honored and flattered to work with the ultimate Enchanting Diva, Karylle. They look forward to chat and bond with the singer-actress.

Never po yung conversation talaga kasi nahihiya po kami,” said Krissel.

For the girls, dubbing is totally different from the singing they’re used to. That’s why they’re training rigorously. “Mahirap din po kasi, kailangan kung ano yung character, kung ano yung mukha, yung emosyon sa mukha ng character, kailangan yun din yung para sa boses mo. Medyo mahirap din po pero nag-eenjoy naman kami,” Monica said.

At first po, parang nahirapan po kami kasi yung timing niya, yung proper pronunciation, proper breathing, yung mga stops, saka pagdeliver nung linya, yun po talaga yung dapat matutunan,” Krissel added.

Kathleen Kaye Pesante is Justin Bieber's One Less Lonely Girl in Manila

Posted by JED on , under | comments (1)

Kathleen Kaye Pesante, whom we consider the luckiest girl in attendance at the recently concluded "My World 2011" Manila concert of Canadian international teen pop superstar Justin Bieber when she was chosen to be the latter's OLLG (One Less Lonely Girl) in Manila, is currently a trending topic on Twitter.

Kathleen was asked to go onstage so that Bieber could sing and dedicate that song to her. But wait, there's more! She also received flowers and a hug from Justin Bieber. Kay swerte!

But how come there's a rumor circulating around the net that JB immediately run backstage and vomited after that number?

The reason? He's sick, that's why. And not because of whatever reasons related to Kathleen (read related news HERE).

A New Beginning: “X-Men: First Class”

Posted by JED on , under | comments (0)

Before Charles (James McAvoy) and Erik (Michael Fassbender) took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers. “X-Men: First Class” brings together the epic scale and action of a summer blockbuster with a character-driven story that unveils the beginning of the X-Men saga. As the first class discovers, harnesses, and comes to terms with their formidable powers, alliances are formed that will shape the eternal war between the heroes and villains of the X-Men universe.

After Charles, joined by Erik, recruits the “first class” of young mutants, these gifted students learn to control and direct their powers for the greater good of mankind. But harnessing these powers is not easy, nor is their coming together as a team.

In the first X-Men film trilogy, the mutants have long honed their abilities and were a smooth-running (well, mostly) team. But when we meet the young mutants in “X-Men: First Class,” their powers are untamed and unfocused. Moreover, says screenwriter Bryan Singer, like most teenagers, the mutants are uncomfortable with being different from their peers. “Their situation is a metaphor for how uncomfortable teens feel in their skin, and how difficult it is when you’re ‘different’ from the societal ideal.”

Charles’ first mutant ally is Raven, a blue-skinned shape-shifter with superhuman agility. The two mutants had met as youngsters, when Charles discovered Raven rummaging through the kitchen of his family’s mansion. Charles makes Raven a member of his family, and they grow up as a kind of brother and sister. But as we know from the first films, their relationship will change dramatically. Explains Bryan Singer: “Because Charles is young and at times naïve, he sometimes doesn’t pay as much attention to Raven as he should, and she sometimes becomes resentful. And that takes her on the path to where we find her in the original film trilogy [played by Rebecca Romijn], as part of Magneto’s Brotherhood.”

Jennifer Lawrence, a Best Actress Academy Award® nominee for her breakout performance in the 2010 drama “Winter’s Bone,” portrays Raven, whose mutant name is Mystique. “Raven has learned to live with her secret, but much like most insecure teenagers who react to something they perceive makes them different, she hasn’t really faced up to her unique abilities,” she says. “Raven is mostly ashamed of them. She slowly starts to realize it is a blessing and becomes proud of her mutant abilities, as do the other young mutants of their powers. At the beginning we are isolated and alone, and each mutant goes through a huge evolution. We join together to become this iconic X-Men team, and then separate. It is fascinating to see the journey each character takes and which side they ultimately join.”

As Charles and Erik become aware of the existence of other mutants, they discover a plot that puts them in the middle of the escalating tensions between the U.S. and the Soviet Union, which is hurtling the world toward disaster. This, in turn, creates an uneasy alliance between the mutants and a covert U.S. government agency. At the agency, Charles and Erik meet Hank, a brilliant scientist with only a few mutant features – until a serum unexpectedly unleashes the superhuman Beast within.

Hank, his mutant powers as yet unrevealed, works at the top-secret agency developing world-changing technology, like Cerebro and the X-Jet. Hank has been alone for much of his life, in hiding and embarrassed by his big simian-like feet and superhuman agility. When he meets Charles and Erik, Hank’s life takes an unexpected turn. Explains Nicholas Hoult, a rising star who takes on the role of the mutant whom fans would come to love as Beast: “Charles tells Hank he must release his full mutant powers. Hank has been trying to suppress his powers and convince himself they don’t even exist. He is too afraid of what he might be capable of if he unleashes them. Charles makes Hank confront his mutant abilities, learn to control them, and use them to help both mutants and humans.”

Hoult understands how Hank’s feelings about his unique abilities are so relatable: “Everyone has been embarrassed or felt like an outsider, at some time in their life. The feelings these mutants have about their powers are no different. When they find each other, and can share their talents, they can finally be proud of who they are.”

Rounding out the team that become the first class of X-Men are Lucas Till as Alex Summers, aka Havok, who can emit concentric rings of super-heated energy waves, causing his targets to burst into flame – and whom Charles and Erik free from solitary confinement in a penitentiary; Caleb Landry Jones as Sean Cassidy, aka Banshee, whose unique sonic blasts carry him into flight; and Edi Gathegi as Armondo Munoz, aka Darwin, whose "reactive evolution” enables him to adapt to any situation or environment.

“X-Men: First Class” opens June 2, Thursday, in Philippine theaters from 20th Century Fox to be distributed by Warner Bros. Visit 20th Century Fox (Philippines) on Facebook and on www.youtube.com/20thcenturyfoxph for promos and latest clips.

2NE1 – Lonely (English Translation)

The words I'm saying right now, I don't know if they'll hurt you
They'll probably make you hate me forever
You, saying that I'm not the same as I used to be, is not completely untrue
This changed me is a stranger to myself as well
You are so kind but
That's the way you are but oh
I don't know I don't know
Why I am like this
We were so in love, and you're here now but oh
I don't know
I want to find myself now

Baby I'm sorry, even when I'm with you, I'm Lonely
I must be lacking when it comes to love, please forgive this person horrible person I am
I'm sorry, this is your and my story
I must not be worthy of this thing called love, even though I'm by your side
Baby I'm so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely
Baby I'm so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely
Baby I'm so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely
Baby I'm so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely

You didn't do anything wrong, I'm the strange one
It seems I've already been prepared long ago, for our breakup
I really wanted to treat you well, out of all the times, why is it when I'm confronted by love
I am shrinking away & am lonely endlessly

Cuz I'm just another girl
This night is lonely, I
Can't take any more, Good bye
Cuz I'm just another girl
I'm so lonely
Even though I'm by your side right now

Friday the 13th Good Luck: 13 Pinoys Make it To WTBC

Posted by JED on , under | comments (0)

On the eve of Friday the 13th, Filipino players who earned spots in the last 64 stage of the World Ten Ball Championship have increased to 13.

Lee Van Corteza, runner-up in the second staging of the WTBC two years ago, became the 13th Pinoy player to reach the knockout stage of the event following a 9-4 win over Raj Hundal in the late night match at the World Trade Center.

Corteza broke free from a slim 5-4 lead by taking advantage on Hundal's inconsistent pocketing.
Slowly but surely, the Filipino cue artist were able to gain the momentum.

In the 12th rack, Corteza tested Hundal's skills by taking safety shot at ball No.1.

The British-Indian player took a gamble on taking a shot at No. 1 – and missed it. That allowed a clear opening for the Filipino, who sank the ball at the corner and cleaned up the rest of the balls for an 8-4 lead.

Off the break in the 13th rack, Corteza sank the No. 5. He opted for safety again on No.1.

Hundal tried a combo shot on Nos. 1 and 10 and missed it, but Hundal found no opening for No.1, took a gamble on taking a shot and was called for a foul in the process.

With ball in hand, Corteza had no problem sinking the first ball. He tried for a combo shot on 2 and 8 at the side pocket, but missed it. After making the No.3, Hundal had a clear look at the No.4 at the corner, but missed it.

With balls scattered perfectly at every corner, Hundal conceded the match to Corteza.

Earlier, Jundel Mazon, one of the few players who earned his spot via the qualifying stage last week, also secured a seat in the last 64 stage of the tournament.

Mazon nearly swept fellow Filipino and veteran campaigner Rodolfo Luat, 9-1.

Corteza and Mazon will join their compatriots headed by former Asian Games gold medalist Antonio Gabica, who qualified to the last 64 earlier, along with inaugural WTBC semifinalist Demosthenes Pulpul, young turks Jerico Banares, Jonas Magpantay, Carlo Biado and Marvin Tapia.

On Wednesday, Filipino world champions Dennis Orcullo and Ronnie Alcano, Jeff de Luna, Roberto Gomez and Vicencio Taino were the first wave of Pinoy bets who made it to the last 64.

Natalie Portman, Kate Gosselin, Heidi Klum, Tiger Woods, Taylor Momsen, Jesse James and Other Hollywood Stories

Life&Style: Now that Prince William and Kate Middleton have officially tied the knot, all eyes are on set for on and off couple Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy. Is a wedding next for them? Could the younger prince be following in his brother's footsteps and heading down the aisle soon?

Though the pair had a tumultuous relationship in the past, many believe that Harry, 26, is ready to make a commitment with Davy, 25.

In the latest issue of Life & Style magazine, Harry told Chelsy he's ready to settle down for good with her and make things official.

The couple, who met in 2004 and split last September, rekindled their romance just in time for last month's Royal Wedding. Though rumors of Harry's infidelity and "bad boy" antics have caused problems in their relationship, friends of the couple say the Prince has changed for the better.

Zap2It: Natalie Portman may likely to leave showbiz in favor of motherhood although no word yet on when she and Benjamin Millepied will tie the knot.

Portman is due to give birth to her first child this summer and while 2011 has already been a banner year for her, she may be ready to call it quits on the acting front. At least temporarily.

When it comes to legendary Hollywood moms, Portman says that she admires Audrey Hepburn, who made it a point to put motherhood first.

"Audrey made some good choices in life," she tells The Sun. "More and more I realize how unimportant it is to be in the history books or anything like that. Putting time and energy into your children, that's valuable."

Jared: Taylor Momsen (Jenny) and Jessica Szohr (Vanessa) won’t be returning as series regulars on the upcoming fifth season of The CW’s Gossip Girl.

The rest of the GG gang remains intact - Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick, and Chace Crawford. Kaylee DeFer has also been promoted to series regular - she plays Serena’s cousin Charlie.

Claudine Zap, Yahoo!: Tiger Woods has some 'splaining to do: The golf pro has dropped to eighth in the world golf rankings. Even if he did win his next title, it would only get the former champ as high as fourth. That leaves fellow American Phil Mickelson, who is fourth, as the only non-European player in the top seven.

US Magazine: Kate Gosselin appeared at Kentucky Derby events wearing a disastrous get-up.

The 36 year-old celebu-mom made a questionable sartorial choice attending the Kentucky Derby over the weekend. She showed off her svelte figure in a form-fitting black and tan dress paired with strappy black heels. Gosselin rocked a wide-brim black hat with feathers and contrarily demure teardrop pearl earrings.

NZCity: Heidi Klum and Seal have renewed their wedding vows for the sixth time.

The couple marked their wedding anniversary with a ceremony attended by their children - Leni, seven, Henry, five, Johan, four, and 19-month-old Lou - and 100 of their closest friends at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, on Saturday night, May 7, 2011.

The couple had originally planned to celebrate the occasion in Mexico at Seal’s beachfront home where they originally tied the knot on May 10, 2005, but recent unrest in the country due to drug violence led them to change the location with business mogul Donald coming to the rescue at the last minute.

Speaking about their annual vows renewal, supermodel Heidi has said previously: "It's our time - a lovely family time. It's about remembering this moment of love we gave to each other and reinforcing it.

"It's so special to us, something we love and something our children have gotten accustomed to. It's like, 'Hey, mom and dad love each other and they get married every year!' "

PopEater: It's been a good week for Chris Hemsworth. The 'Thor' actor smashed the box office last weekend with his hit action flick and now he's been offered a significant role in Universal's 'Snow White and the Huntsman.'

According to Entertainment Weekly, Hemsworth has been offered the role of the Huntsman in the fairytale reboot and, if he accepts, will likely star opposite Kristen Stewart, who told EW she's "almost positive" she'll be playing Snow White.

Two high-profile actors, Viggo Mortensen and Hugh Jackman, were once rumored to be attached to the project as the Huntsman but neither deal worked out, opening the door for Hemsworth.

If Hemsworth and Stewart officially sign on, they'll join Charlize Theron, who has long been attached to the project as the Evil Queen.

BANGShowbiz: Jesse James still feels like "the most hated man" in America.

The motorcycle entrepreneur - who has children Chandler, 13, Jesse Jr., 11, and seven-year-old Sunny from previous relationships - believes people will never forgive him for revelations in March 2010 he had cheated on then-wife Sandra Bullock and thinks the only way to gain redemption would be to "kill himself".

He said: "I think I still am the most hated man in America today.

"It was definitely trying at times to try and keep my head on my shoulders and try and take care of my kids."

Jesse has also vowed never to date such a high-profile celebrity in the future as he feels he needs to be with his own "people".

Explaining what he had learned from cheating on Sandra, he said: "It just taught me a lesson I need to stay hanging out with the people that I've been around and accept me and don't judge me, that's bikers and mechanics and stuff like that. It's the kind of people that mainstream media looks down on, those are my people and I need to get back to that."
