Rihanna – "Rude Boy" Music Video and Lyrics

Posted by JED on Thursday, February 11, 2010 , under | comments (0)

Catch Rihanna's latest music video for her latest song "Rude Boy" off of her current album entitled, Rated R.

"Rude Boy" is far different from Rihanna's past videos with a dark/eerie tone. This particular video is fun and is very colorful.

"The video is completely different from any other video I’ve shot before. A lot of my videos are really dark and edgy and tough. Rude Boy is more playing along the lines from my roots… We used a lot of color, but also the costumes were very Jamaican dance-hall queen type." according to Rihanna.

Rude Boy - Music Video and Lyrics:

Come here rude boy, boy
Can you get it up
Come here rude boy, boy
Is you big enough
Take it, take it
Baby, baby
Take it, take it
Love me, love me

Come here rude boy, boy
Can you get it up
Come here rude boy, boy
Is you big enough
Take it, take it
Baby, baby
Take it, take it
Love me, love me

Tonight
I'mma let you be the captain
Tonight
I'mma let you do your thing, yeah
Tonight
I'mma let you be a rider
Giddy up
Giddy up
Giddy up, babe

Tonight
I'mma let it be fire
Tonight
I'mma let you take me higher
Tonight
Baby we can get it on, yeah
we can get it on, yeah

Do you like it boy
I wa-wa-want
What you wa-wa-want
Give it to me baby
Like boom, boom, boom
What I wa-wa-want
Is what you wa-wa-want
Na, na-aaaah

Come here rude boy, boy
Can you get it up
Come here rude boy, boy
Is you big enough
Take it, take it
Baby, baby
Take it, take it
Love me, love me

Come here rude boy, boy
Can you get it up
Come here rude boy, boy
Is you big enough
Take it, take it
Baby, baby
Take it, take it
Love me, love me

Tonight
I'mma give it to you harder
Tonight
I'mma turn your body out
Relax
Let me do it how I wanna
If you got it
I need it
And I'mma put it down

Buckle up
I'mma give it to you stronger
Hands up
We can go a little longer
Tonight
I'mma get a little crazy
Get a little crazy, baby

Do you like it boy
I wa-wa-want
What you wa-wa-want
Give it to me baby
Like boom, boom, boom
What I wa-wa-want
Is what you wa-wa-want
Na, na-aaaah

Come here rude boy, boy
Can you get it up
Come here rude boy, boy
Is you big enough
Take it, take it
Baby, baby
Take it, take it
Love me, love me

Come here rude boy, boy
Can you get it up
Come here rude boy, boy
Is you big enough
Take it, take it
Baby, baby
Take it, take it

Love me, love me

I like the way you touch me there
I like the way you pull my hair
Babe, if I don't feel it I ain't faking
No, no

I like when you tell me kiss it there
I like when you tell me move it there

So giddy up
Time to giddy up
You say you're a rude boy
Show me what you got now

Come here right now

Take it, take it
Baby, baby
Take it, take it
Love me, love me

Come here rude boy, boy
Can you get it up
Come here rude boy, boy
Is you big enough
Take it, take it

GMA Network Supports COMELEC in Implementing Fair Election Act

Posted by JED on , under | comments (2)

GMA-7 believes in COMELEC's implementation of Fair Election Act or Republic Act 9006 (read related article HERE). The giant TV network also issued a statement reminding all its talents to cease from campaigning for the candidates or political parties. It also prevents the election-related materials to feature celebrities even if they were shot before the campaign period.

Below is the Kapuso network's directive:

"GMA Network is advising its talents that they have to take a leave of absence if they continue to campaign for or endorse candidates or political parties during the campaign period, even if the taping of their participation in the promotion or plug of the candidate was done before the campaign period.

"GMA Network's talents, who appeared in political ads or advocacy plugs before February 9, are advised to notify the candidates concerned or those responsible for placing these political plugs not to air them during the campaign period."

ABS-CBN Releases Official Statement on COMELEC and PPCRV Position on the Use of Talents

Posted by JED on , under | comments (0)

In response to COMELEC and PPCRV election ruling on celebrities endorsing candidates, ABS-CBN released an official statement this afternoon pointing out a loophole in this law. According to the Kapamilya network, talents are not employees of the ABS-CBN, hence the ruling "does not apply to them."

Here's the Kapamilya network's statement in full:

"The call for ABS-CBN talents who endorse candidates to go on leave during the campaign period is not required by the Fair Election Act or its implementing rules and regulations. Section 36 of Comelec Resolution No. 8758 in relation to Section 1 (4) thereof and the Fair Election Act merely requires that media practitioners such as talents 'shall not use his/her time or space to favor any candidate.' In this regard, it is ABS-CBN's policy that its talents may not use any program to endorse or promote any candidate. This policy is strictly enforced by the network.

"The provision of law cited by the PPCRV [Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting] and Comelec that requires media personalities to either resign or go on leave applies to employees only. Talents are not employees of the network and, therefore, the said provision does not apply to them."

COMELEC and PPCRV Asked Celebrities Backing Candidates to Go On Leave

Posted by JED on , under | comments (0)

Celebrities endorsing electoral candidates will have to go on leave or resign permanently from their TV shows if they continue to endorse candidates. The media outfit also has to stop airing the shows of the entertainer, or the column of the columnist as stated in the Fair Election Act or Republic Act 9006.

The Commission on Election (COMELEC) announced that this rule will take effect starting next week to monitor the media exposure of personalities and celebrities on TV and radio.

The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) also said that the Fair Election Act made it mandatory for actors, columnists and other mass media personalities endorsing candidates to resign or take a leave from their TV shows or media outfits during the campaign period.

Section 6 (6.6) of the Fair Election Act or Republic Act No. 9006 states: "Any mass media columnist, commentator, announcer, reporter, on-air correspondent or personality who is a candidate for any elective public office or is a campaign volunteer for or employed or retained in any capacity by any candidate or political party shall be deemed resigned, if so required by their employer, or shall take a leave of absence from his/her work as such during the campaign period."

Famous showbiz personalities known for endorsing a political candidate in the 2010 election are Kris Aquino, Boy Abunda, Willie Revillame, Sarah Geronimo, Michael V., Dingdong Dantes, and Dolphy.

"SOP Fully Charged" To Get the Axe Soon!

Posted by JED on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 , under | comments (0)

GMA-7's newly formatted Sunday noontime variety show "SOP Fully Charged" will be off the air on February 28, 2010, according to a very reliable source.

SOP Fully Charged which started as "Sobrang Okay, Pare", then re-titled to "SOP Rules" and relaunched late last year to its current name had undergone a series of reformat so as to boost high ratings but it still failed to gain more viewership and disappoints GMA Executives. Even some of its hosts vocally showed their dismay. Regine Velasques, the show's main frontliner has been absent from the show for a couple of weeks since its relaunched.

This will surely come as a surprise to GMA-7 talents who are part of the SOP Fully Charged since the decision to axe the show is yet to divulge by GMA management.

NKIN is also included in the official soundtrack album of Disney's "The Princess and The Frog" from Walt Disney Records.

For the way you changed my plans
For being the perfect distraction

For the way you took the idea that i had
of everything that i wanted to have
and made me see there was something missing...

For the ending of my first begin
(And) For the rare and unexpected friend

For the way you're something that I'd never choose
but at the same time something i don't wanna lose
and never wanna be without ever again...

You're the best thing I never knew I needed
when you appear i had no idea...

You're the best thing i never knew i needed
so now it's so clear i need you here, always...

My accidental happily (ever after)
The way you smile and how you comfort me (with your laughter)

I must admit you were not a part of my book
but now if you open it up and take a look
you're the beginning and the end of every chapter...

You're the best thing i never knew i needed
when you appear i had no idea...

You're the best thing i never knew i needed (that i needed)
so now it's so clear i need you here, always...

Who knew knew that I could be...
So unexpectedly...
Undeniably happy (yeah)
With you right here, right here next to me...

You're the best thing i never knew i needed
when you appear i had no idea...

You're the best thing i never knew i needed (that i needed)
so now it's so clear i need you here, always...

...Now it's so clear, I need you here always.
