Dingdong met the entertainment media last March 13, to introduce his newest endorsement, Medicol, at his co-owned restaurant, Circle's Café in Timog Avenue, Quezon City.
After the presentation, Dingdong received praises from the media for continuously receiving product endorsements, which for him is also one indication of having a successful showbiz career.
"Ang range para masabi mong effective, kahit as a person man lang is when, you know, dumarating yung mga endorsements na ganito," explained Dingdong. "So, ito [Medicol] talaga yung isang solid na endorsement. Talagang mayroon pang tagline and everything, dahil ibig sabihin, ipinagkatiwala talaga nila sa akin ang ganung klaseng produkto. It's very flattering and at the same time sana maging ganun na yung momentum, maging ganun na yung lahat."
Since the new endorsement was presented only a few days after he revealed his Bench billboard in Guadalupe, Makati City, the press could not help but ask the difference between the two with regard to talent fee.
Dingdong replied without revealing the amount, "Sa totoo lang talaga, ang Bench naman talaga, ang relationship namin ay hindi TF [talent fee]-based. So, sa ganung bagay pa lang, at saka ang relationship namin is not TF-based."
The actor-host-endorser also said that Medicol and Bench are two different products so there is no point of comparison.

“I was shocked that Madame Spears was willing to come and do some acting,” HIMYM star Neil Patrick Harris recently told Entertainment Tonight. “She hasn’t acted in a while. This is a very interesting role. It is very not like her at all in real life in any of her previous chapters. She plays the secretary to another girl that Ted (Josh Radnor) is after. So, it will be very unlike any Britney we have seen before, and we have seen a lot of Britney recently.”
“That movie made $400 million!” Singer tells Empire Online incredulously. “I don’t know what constitutes under-performing these days…Look, I can understand, I suppose, what some people mean. Perhaps some people went in with the expectation of it being like an X-Men film, and Superman is a tougher character than that. Especially bringing him back. It really goes back to the fact that you can only please some of the people some of the time. But, yes, I’m just getting back with writers after the strike. We’re just in the development phase. I’m starting to develop a sequel…with the intention of directing it.”
The complainant is a former personal assistant of Claudine named Nancy Jiji Cruz, who is a resident of No. 52 Q. Valencia Street, Barangay Valencia, Quezon City. She claimed that the actress was lying in her complaint-affidavit for qualified theft, which Claudine filed against her last January.
Cruz added in her complaint-affidavit that Claudine knew that there were no stolen or missing items in her house at No. 18 Nova Scotia Street, Loyola Grand Villas, Quezon City, and that no witness to the alleged theft was positively declared.
It was on December 27 that Claudine reported the alleged theft at the Quezon City Police District Station 9. She claimed that her former personal assistant allegedly took P300,000 worth of jewelry and cash, including several checks and the birth certificate of her son, Rodrigo Santino.
The actress told the police that she learned about the incident on Christmas day, December 25, and suspected that it was Cruz who stole the items because she allegedly left the house without asking permission.
On December 30, Margaret Barretto-Santiago, Claudine's real name, filed a case against Cruz before the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office. She claimed that Cruz stole P27,000 in cash, three sacks of Folded & Hung apparel, including shirts; a boxful of Secosana bags and wallets, Randy Ortiz gowns, south sea pearl earrings, which allegedly cost P500,000, and insurance papers.
On the other hand, according to a report published in People's Journal today, March 12, Cruz denied these allegations and reasoned that it is highly improbable and physically impossible and for her to carry and bring out three sacks of clothes and shirts by herself, even with the assistance of her three-year-old kid.
Cruz further argued that she sought permission from Claudine to leave on the morning of December 26, bringing only paper bags containing Christmas gifts. Cruz also stressed that Claudine would not allow her to bring out her personal belongings, so she did not bring any bag. Furthermore, the former assistant said the security guards of the village inspected her things before she was allowed to leave.
In a separate complaint-affidavit, Cruz also charged Claudine with violation of the Social Security Act of 1997. She claimed that Claudine allegedly failed to report her employment and services for coverage with Social Security System (SSS) after she was hired as a personal assistant and domestic helper in March 2001.
The former assistant stressed that she did not enjoy the benefits of the social security law because Claudine failed to remit her contributions to the SSS.
As of press time, Claudine has yet to give her side of the story.
I are filing for divorce anytime now."
I would like to get in contact with you as soon as possible. This is in regards to Sheryl and I..."
NO SIGNS.
NO THIRD PARTY.
Paliwanag ni Norman, "Our long periods of separation have taken their toll. Four years is a long time. She's there working and I'm here working. We have taken different career paths. I understand that she enjoys working in showbiz and she understands that I can't leave my job [in San Francisco]. "
"I can't join Sheryl in the Philippines and be a burden to her," dagdag niya. "You see, I'm used to working and earning my own keep since I was young and I just couldn't depend on my wife to support me. That's not me. I think we are faced with irreconcilable differences, so... This is a very hard decision for us to make. It's great when we are together but life is just hard and lonely for me when I'm alone, living by myself in our big house. It's a situation that is just unhealthy for any couple."
"We have regular communication, we are friendly to each other, contrary to rumors that we have had clashes. We are okay," paglilinaw ni Norman.
"Our main concern now is to give our daughter a good life, a good future," sabi ni Norman.

How to play The Singing Bee? Here's how:
The host would provide the year the song was released, the performer, and the name of the song. A portion of the song is performed, and then the contestant has to attempt to sing the next line of the song. If correct, they advance to the next round, and a new song is introduced, which the next contestant in line must attempt; if not, they have to step back, and the next person in line tries the same song. A song is thrown out if none of the remaining contestants get the lyric correct. The first four people (three people in season two) who get a song lyric correct move on to the second round.
The contestants who advanced go up in pairs to play a mini-game. The winner of the game advances to the championship round. (Note that these games are the only ones that have aired so far. As more episodes air, more games will likely be played.)
* "Scrambled Lyrics": While the band is performing, words from the next line are shown scrambled on screen. The contestant is required to sing the line in its correct order. When one contestant is correct and the other is wrong at any point, the one who was correct moves on to the Championship Round.
* "Karaoke Challenge": While the band is performing, the contestant sees the words to the song in karaoke fashion. As the contestant sings the song, he or she will also see blanks, each representing a word in the song. The player who fills in the most blanks correctly (out of a possible 15) wins and goes on to the Championship Round.
* "Blind Start": The band plays the beginning notes of a song. When the band stops, the contestant must sing the opening line correctly. One of the three contestants is eliminated from the second round.
* "Playlist": The three contestants are given 6 categories of song which have comical titles. Whichever two contestants have the most points after the 6 songs move on to the next round.
* "Singing with the Enemy": The band plays part of a popular song. The first contestant must do the next line when the band stops playing. The band then picks up with the line the contestant said and stops. The next contestant continues on with the song. This goes through 3 passes. The two with the highest score move on.
This follows a similar format to the first round, but instead of singing a line, the contestant is required to sing the entire chorus without mistakes from the song performed. If both are correct or incorrect (sometimes after two rounds), then they go to a tiebreaker, where they are given the year and the name of the performer and the first person to buzz in will be given the option of singing or passing. If the singer is correct, they win. If the singer is wrong, the other contestant wins. The winner moves on to the Final Countdown.
The Final Countdown
Ray Chew introduces this concluding round by announcing in song: "It's the Final Countdown!" (based on a song called "The Final Countdown" by hard rock band Europe.) Up to 7 songs are performed in a similar manner to the first round, but the contestant knows nothing about the song, (artist, title, year) and thus must use the lyrics in order to win the big money. For each song lyric that is sung correctly, the player wins $5,000. If the player gets five right, then they win $50,000. However, if they sing a lyric incorrectly, a strike is given. If three strikes are given at any point, the game is over, but the contestant still wins whatever money was accumulated up to that point. Beginning in the second season, the winning contestant also defends as champion title to face three more challengers.

Last Sunday, March 9, Marimar had its farewell party on SOP, where almost half of the show was devoted to the No. 1 primetime show in the country. This was immediately followed by a farewell special, Marimar...Isang Pasasalamat, hosted by lead stars Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes.
It was a double victory for Marimar since SOP ruled the daytime race with 21.4 percent while Marimar...Isang Pasasalamat was a close second with 19.9 percent.
Showbiz Central, meanwhile, once again won the battle of Sunday talk shows by taking the third place with 15.6 percent versus The Buzz's 12.1 percent, which is good for No. 6. Incidentally, Showbiz Central featured the "wedding" of Marimar and Sergio.
ASAP '08 tied with Your Song at No. 5 with 12.2 percent.
In the primetime race, the magazine show Mel & Joey grabbed the No. 1 position with 29.1 percent, followed by Kap's Amazing Stories (27.6 percent), Tok! Tok! Tok! Isang Milyon Pasok (26.2 percent), Rated K (21 percent), and All Star K (20.2 percent) to complete the Top 5.
Marimar also continued its domination in its regular timeslot, taking the No. 1 spot Friday (March 7) and Monday (March 10). On both nights, Kamandag and Joaquin Bordado placed second and third, respectively.
Now on its final week, the Koreanovela Coffee Prince took the fourth spot Friday with 33.6 percent but it dropped to No. 8 Monday with 23.8 percent. TV Patrol World and Kung Fu Kids maintained their sixth and seventh positions, respectively, on both nights.

In the daytime race, Eat Bulaga! and Daisy Siete were the only consistent shows, taking the top two slots. The ranking from No. 3 to No. 10 was completely different on Friday and Monday.

In the primetime race, the magazine show Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho was No. 1 with 34.8 percent. The rest of the Top 5 went to Imbestigador (32.1 percent), Bitoy's Funniest Videos (31.5 percent), Kakasa Ka Ba Sa Grade 5? (22.percent), and TV Patrol World (17.8 percent).

Panoramanila fuses independent cinema spirit with commercial filmmaking sensibilities. Their first feature film, Ploning, is shot with live sound and in the traditional 35 mm. film format, so basically, this is not a digital movie.
The Judy Ann starrer was shot entirely in Cuyo Island, Palawan, showcasing its breath-taking sceneries.
The main inspiration of the film is from the popular Cuyonon folk song, “Ploning”. It presents the story of a Cuyonon woman’s promise, her struggle with hope and love told from the point of view of a young boy.
Sigurado pa ring matutuloy ito as one of the scheduled movies of GMA Films, but this will have to wait dahil mas una na palang natanguan ng manager ni Marian na si Popoy Caritativo ang first team-up ng Comedy Kings na sina Dolphy at Vic Sotto sa pelikula.
After Marimar magkakaroon muna ng two-week training ang young actress for swimming lessons with Marissa Floreindo during and after Holy Week. By the time she starts taping Dyesebel, magsisimula na rin siya ng kanyang follow-up movie after My Best Friend's Girlfriend.
It was Dolphy himself who requested that Marian be part of his first team-up with the heir to his throne, Vic Sotto.
The movie will be produced by APT Films of Mr. Tony Tuviera and M-ZET Productions of Vic Sotto.
Janina San Miguel won 2 special awards last Saturday - the coveted Best in Swimsuit and Best in Long Gown. But her question and answer was a disaster. Other girls who are equally stunning but gave brilliant answers didn’t win any title.
Danielle Castano, the winner of Miss Photogenic award, was the crowd favorite and the choice of pageant experts to represent us in Miss Universe but she ended up first-runner up only.
We haven’t placed in Miss Universe since 1999 when Miriam Quiambao was able to grab the first runner-up honors. With the results of this year’s Bb. Pilipinas, experts believe the drought will continue.
